I never thought I would ever see that day.
Oh really? I hope it will be on YouTube at some point.
It's the same old commercial that you usually see on Nozomi's DVDs. They even acknowledged it on their Twitter too:

Saw the http://RightStuf.com ad? :D If you missed it (& want to see it), go here: http://youtu.be/F74rCQndjCc

(Also on Nozomi's DVDs.)
The fact that it actually aired on tv at all was the interesting part.

That sure is awesome! You know where I would like to see the ad next? On Nozomi's Blu-ray!

I'm sure the majority of them had to be renewed or something. Tenchi Muyo OVA3 hasn't aired on TV before either, so that definitely would've been new.
It seems that they made a deal with Funimation, Bandai and Right Stuf to pull this one off.

I really liked ad bumps they made for the DVD/BDs release of the shows.

Default Possibility of Cartoon Network bringing back Toonami?

With the April Fools joke this past weekend, could Toonami be brought back sometime in the future?

If this occurs, I will use either this thread or the other one as a discussion thread.

More anime sounds good to me. I wonder what the mix would be between the stuff that has aired before and new shows. What time slot would it be in?

My guess would be that they'd only do it on Saturday nights during the time they show anime. Basically the hours that they show normal [as] stuff (9:00 to midnight I think) would be regular old Adult Swim and then Toonami would take over during the anime hours, which I believe is midnight through 5:30am.

I could see that working reasonably well. They wouldn't be putting Toonami on during any times they cared about (because let's face it, they don't care about anime) and Toonami fans would get their weekly does of awesome.

Hell, they could even kick it off by premiering Inuyasha: The Final Act (which I can't see them not getting unless they're no longer doing new anime).

Either odds are good for a Toonami reboot or April Fools is month-long for them.
