Or maybe they are actually super-advanced, top-secret Vocaloids.
My tin-foil hat idea is ClariS is a modern marketing scheme.

They were known entities prior to wining the contest so it's not likely. But since I enjoy the music, I don't really care who they are in real life.

This album comes with a store-specific original poster bonus. If you order from one of these stores, you can recieve it. For us, CD Japan and HMV list the poster on their listings. No design has been shown thus far.

Well, damn. I completely forgot about this, and didn't realize it was an April release. I've already placed my April Amazon order, and both LEs are out of stock anyway.

Guess I'll need to pick up the RE next month. I didn't really need the LE anyway. Just a bit of a shame because I just got an email from Amazon going on about how they had it for 23% off which made the LE less than the RE.... then I click the link and it's not available for order.

LE + DVD will continue to be made until the end of June. Amazon likely ran out of their initial stock. The LE with figures was truly a first press exclusive that will not come back in stock. You'll likely be able to purchase the + DVD edition next month.

It will contain 12 tracks: 8 new songs plus their four huge anisong hits: Irony (OreImo), Nexus (OreImo), Connect (Madoka), and Naisho no Hanashi (Nisemonogatari).

I almost never buy albums that aren't exclusively anisong (with the exception of Vocaloid), but I might make an exception for ClariS.
In albums like this, are the anisong like Naisho no Hanashi exactly the same of the one I will get on the Naisho no Hanashi single CD or is there a difference?

I'm guessing it'll be the same. They could remix them, but the song titles would probably indicate that somehow, and since this is sort of a mix of greatest hits and new stuff I'm guessing the old will be unchanged.

Default "Birthday" sales

The first album by ClariS scorched the charts. 54,000 sold in the first week to take second on the Oricon weekly rankings. Way to go!

That's great! Good for them. I decided that I will get this at some point.

I might give it another pass, but I was pretty disappointed with this album. Not a single one of the new songs appealed to me. I had liked 3/4 of their previous singles quite a bit, but the new ones tended towards the slow side.

Interesting. I wonder who produced the non-single songs. All done by kz?

I should pick up a copy up at some point.
