Default [VITA/PS3] Hatsune Miku: Project Diva

Next Project Diva game will be released on the VITA this summer and also another game released on the PS3 in 2013.

Not very surprising since SEGA had a teaser video up in December. link if anyone is interested in watching the teaser.

SGCafe has scans up on what's been announced. Very nice that World's End Dancehall is in the game (not surprising) and also Pierretta (Pierrot?)

New costumes too. China dresses! Luka looks amazing and Miku looks cute as always (mmm...zettai ryouki).

Well, looks like Miku will continue her conquest over my wallet since I'll need to pick up a Vita for the summer (I just bought a Japanese 3DS to play Project Mirai).

I might get the PS3 one, since I need to justify that purchase somehow beyond the one playthrough of iDOLM@STER 2 I did (just don't have the time to play it again unfortunately).

Still, it'll be a rhythm game, and I really don't like (and am atrocious at) rhythm games, soooo... blah! Oh well I may get it anyway. And it's a long long wait if it's not coming until some unspecified time in 2013.

Grown-Up Kagamine Rin will surely astound her fans as the Hatsune Miku devenopment team include it the game.
This is really an interesting news for PS3 players and fanatics of Kagamine Rin. Check this out!

I've got Project DIVA F and the HORI Project DIVA F arcade controller on the way. Can't wait! Set me back about $600 for both... heh. But I've put tons of time in to the Vita version. So this is worth it for me.

$600? The game is like $70, how much is that arcade stick?

Well. Slightly less than $600. The arcade stick is almost $500 after shipping. The thing weighs 15 pounds. Quite a bit more than my nicer arcade sticks.. Which weigh 9.5! Ah well. I am excited.

Oh damn, you bought the full sized controller? I've use the Dreamy Theater controller at cons and it is really nice. I was contemplating on the smaller one, but decided to pass up on it. If anything, I can always take the time and build my own.

Yep! The smaller one looks to me like it just has regular sized arcade buttons like the ones used for fighters and shmups. And analog sticks for the scratching. Didn't seem worth it.

Making your own seems pretty cool. What would you use for the touch pad?

They look to be much larger. 30mm buttons would be waaay too small for that.

I would find a common ground PS3 controller and use that and buy some large buttons. So, instead of the touch pad, it would be analog sticks like the smaller PJDF controller Hori is selling.

Game & controller should arrive tomorrow for me. I also splurged for the mega-controller after playing with the previous one at a bunch of cons. Should have a bit of free time Friday/Saturday to play around with it - pretty excited to give it a whirl.
