Default [JP BD] Hyouka

Volume 1 will be released on 6/29 for 7,000 yen (BD)/6,000 yen (DVD) and will have 2 episodes. This will be 11 volumes as per the Neowing listing.

Volume 1 comes with a bonus CD containing the soundtrack, a drama, and radio digest. It will come in a clear case and with a 3 volume box. Physical extras include a 16 pg. booklet and 2 postcards. On-disc extras include staff audio commentary by Supervisor Takemoto and Series Composer Gatou, location scouting, BGM recording imagery, OP/ED recording imagery, textless OP/ED, promotional spots, PV, and TV CMs.

Not happening for me. 11 months is a long time to invest in a series, especially with a very good one being released at the same time and another promising one next season. Maybe if it was Haruhi. Damn you Kadokawa.

I actually wonder if this will affect sales similarly to Nichijou. Everyone kinda loved Nichijou but wouldn't buy it due to its ridiculous length. I mean, it's still going.

I'd say this has better chances of selling than Nichijou, despite the length. There's a lot of focus on the main four characters as opposed to the random cuts to minor characters in Nichijou. People can get attached to Eru and Mayaka better than Yukko or Mio.
