Totally not surprised. It;s a Katsura series and Viz is apparently in love with everything he does(not to mentioned they mentioned Zetman in one of their last JUMP print issues) so I;d have been surprised if they passed this. Well if we get the manga I have zero complaints

Good to know I'll be able to watch this as it airs. Now hopefully I only like it enough to watch it all, and not enough to want to ever own it. You can stop this, Viz. I'm sure someone else would have picked it up.

Ah, shame it won't be on Crunchy. A high-action series like this, with VIZ's streaming quality...not a good match. I may very well have to pass on this series for the time being.

It has not been announced, there might also be a chance depending on how many people view the show.

The manga license definitely isn't guaranteed, given the content and demographic of Zetman. Since it's a relatively violent series (it is a seinen, after all), it would go under VIZ's Signature Series line. For those that follow/are familiar with it, you probably can guess it isn't their biggest priority. It has seen a downturn in activity lately, both by series that are released on a consistent basis, and the number of series published in that specific line.

Sig Series only see about a volume release every 3-5 months (3 if you're lucky, though 4-5 is more the norm these days). Really is a shame, since a number of the Sig Series are currently finished and/or caught up with JP releases. Hopefully we will see VIZ license the manga in due time. Perhaps with Sakura-Con this weekend, we might see an announcement -- just don't hold your breath.
