First batch of dvds had sound problems.

NIS America currently has a replacement program in place.

Man someone should list all of NIS's anime releases and let's see if any show didnt have problems. This seems to be the norm with them more often than not.

Depends on what you define as a 'problem'. Forced subs does not count. Their recent releases of Katanagatari, Kimi Ni Todoke and Arakawa Under the Bridge have been perfectly fine.

Anyway luckily my set is still reserved for my order at TRSI(held up by the Squid Girl BD) so I'll make sure it only gets sent out once the corrected discs are included.

Has anyone here received their replacement discs yet? I sent my info in at the end of April and I have yet to receive my discs.

Got mine around mid-June. Hopefully the process has become more efficient. Just a heads up, they DO NOT require you to send in the defective discs which is awesome because I suddenly found myself in need of coasters.

I got my replacement Monday, August 6. Faster than I thought. Too bad I was out of town until Friday night... I was not able to play them sooner.

Does anyone else have issues seeking on the fixed DVDs?

These DVDs seem to be authored with seeking/fastforward/rewind completely broken. I can FF and it will skate all over forward, then back, jumping seconds, minutes, chapters, all over the place.
