Hmm... I don't know. I haven't seen any of the animation of Oblivion Island, and I don't know anything about its plot, but I think that I've seen some positive comments about it (unless I'm getting it mixed up with another title). Do I go in completely blind, or not? It's hurt by the fact that it's a Funi release... <sigh>

As for the animation, did you check out the trailer linked on the first post. It may or may not help.

MSRPs added to the first post for Oblivion Island. I guess FUNimation is pushing the movie ahead of the rest of the August solicitation (like what they did with Dragon Age).

It looks like we have a release delay. Amazon.com has updated the release date for Ergo Proxy from 7/3 to 8/28. TRSI hasn't updated the release date as of this post.

The delay probably has to do with the upcoming JP DVD and BD-Box releases.

• JP DVD reissues: Set 1 (7/25), Set 2 (8/22).
• JP BD-Box [EngDub]: 7/25

It's now confirmed by RACS as well...

First, a schedule change from Funimation. They let us know this week that they will be bumping the street date on the new re-release of Ergo Proxy up a couple of months from Jul 3rd to August 28th. No reason was given, but then again, they never do - transparency is bad for business.
