Slow enough for a second week of DVDs for Acchi Kocchi. That I did not expect.
Thursday saw 5 more releases squished into a 20 unit range.
Pretty amazing how consistent Unicorn sales are. v1-v3 BDs are separated by 230 copies, or about 0.002% of their total.

Spring update:
SenColle v1 adds 335 DVDs, total 3,302.

Acchi Kocchi v1 adds 272/240, total 2,520.

Winter update:
Nisemonogatari v2 adds 459 BDs, total 58,561.

Mouretsu v4 sells adds 423 BDs, total 7,230 with the 291 for the equivalent DVDs.

Amagami SS+ v3 adds 255 BDs, total 4,916.

PapaKiki v4 adds 320 BDs, total 3,131 with the 347 for the equivalent DVDs.

Fall update:
Persona 4 v7 adds 275 BDs, total 25,885.

Past seasons:
Gintama' v11 adds 230, total 12,225.

OVAs, Movies, Boxsets etc:
Gundam UC v5 adds 10595/7999, total 164,043

Toshokan Sensou BD box adds 295, total 926.

Next week, Saki Achiga-hen, Nyaruko-san, Eureka AO, Zetman, and Hiiro no Kakera, then nine more the week after that.

I'm curious so can anyone tell me what are the total sales of Hunter X Hunter (2011 duh), Nazo no Kanojo X and Sankarea? I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me
And if anyone knows how much did the old Berserk anime sell? Although I doubt there is data just trying my luck

Hunter x Hunter (2011) - Has not ranked, a couple hundred at best.
Nazo no Kanojo X - Not yet released, estimate 2-3k.
Sankarea - Not yet released, estimate 2k-3k.

Pre-Oricon and probably mostly pre-DVD, so it's hard to know any any data is probably incomplete. The 2001 DVD box set sold 2,268. The original VHS (I assume it was VHS, maybe very very early DVD?) I don't have on hand.

I might be able to dig something more out of the livedoor historical thread when I get home.

Edit: Nope, couldn't find anything.

Default Oricon 2012 mid-year rankings

Mid-year rankings have been posted, but the BD threshold is so high it's not terribly useful. Anything that sold enough to make these rankings also ranked in the weekly lists, so there's almost nothing to add.
- Numbers in [blue/bold] at the end are how much this number adds to the most recent previous total. I only did this for TV series since I don't keep data for the rest.
- n/a means we already have more recent data for this release, or nothing was added.
- Western animation was removed per usual which is why the lists aren't exactly 30/20.

Not exceptionally exciting overall. A couple hundred extra for some BDs. Top 100 definitely isn't as useful as it used to be for BDs... there are so many more now than there used to be. DVD also gives us literally nothing extra except Nise v2 wk3, presumably because we get so much more in the weekly lists than we used to.

What I wouldn't give for a comprehensive BD list down to ~5k sellers.

Current total averages for the shows in the BD list:

61,557 - Nisemonogatari (2 of 5)
51,339 - Fate/Zero (1 of 2)
31,038 - Persona 4 (7 of 10)
27,829 - Tiger & Bunny (complete)
21,647 - Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon (6 of 7)

It was also released on LD, but there doesn't seem to be many of them out there (I had a difficult time finding them when I was looking for a complete set about 5 years ago, and had to pay almost 20,000 yen for them which was a LOT for used LDs), so I imagine not a lot of people pre-ordered/bought them back when they were originally released. The VHS probably didn't fare much better. Maybe around an average of 4,000 or so at the most for combined VHS/LD sales, I'd wager.

Thanks for the info. Looks like Nazo no Kanojo X and Sankarea are doing pretty bad doesn't it? I was hoping for a second season but still surprises me how they didn't get otakus in Japan addicted

Default May Monthly Rankings

http://jbbs.livedoor.jp/bbs/read.cgi...1293278942/400

This covers the weeks starting 5/07, 5/14, 5/21, and 5/28.

Mouretsu v3 +426 BDs, total 7,529. Finally the weeks align right for it to get an adjustment! Thankfully there was some overlap between weeks reported (5/07 in both). Really wish we had a final tally for v1. It's probably almost 8k, rather than the 6.4k we have reported.

Ikamusume!? v6 +309 BDs, total 3,399. Final average now 3,397.

Last Exile Fam v5 +195 BDs, total 2,647.

Another v3 +280 BDs, total 2,583.

Macross BD Box +285, total 3,165.

Nyaruko-san will definitely rank on DVD. Generally a DVD rank in the high 20s during the month's busy week means 2.5k-4k, but its weekly number will probably be more in the high 30s, as it drops. I think it could reach 2k DVDs. As for BD it's stayed close to SEED BD Box v2, which if it did similarly to v1, could mean 8k+ BDs. 10k first week BD/DVD combined looks like a lock for Nyaruko.

Saki came out a few days earlier and promptly went out of stock on Amazon so I have no idea what's up there, but its first two days were on par with one of the versions of Kokurikozaka. If it ranks on DVD it'll only be a couple hundred.

Eureka Seven might be on par with AnoNatsu. Previous volume of that did 5,610 first week.

Black Rock Shooter is below E7 but ahead of Lagrange, so maybe 4k.

Hiiro is basically nowhere on BD, but maybe 2k DVDs. More than Nyarko at any rate, so far.

Totally absent from the daily rankings: Zetman. Doesn't mean it won't rank but it won't be selling a noteworthy amount.

On a totally different topic, 4 of 5 versions of the Strike Witches movie are in the top 100, with the Amazon exclusive BD at #1 its first full day and the non-exclusive LE BD at #4, with LE DVD at 13-14 and RE BD down around 80-100.
