Crunchyroll finally has a date- July 10. Countdown is 3 days, 5 hours and 15 minute (OK, just under) from now so adjust for your local time.

And for those of us who enjoy living on the edge, raw will be out in just a few hours.

Default Episode 1

Unsurprisingly, that literally picked up right where season 1 ended.

And it was AWWWWEEESSOOOME

Just too awesome for words. Especially when I only vaguely understand what happened.

First episode was full of action just like it was in season 1.
Mecha fight was pretty cool ^^
Tres Espana advances were pretty intense.
It was a pretty good first episode.
Will give this one a few more episodes.

So much action coupled with excellent animation in this first episode. That must've been quite an expensive introduction to the second season for Sunrise, and I love them for that. I'm sure that investment will pay off in the long run (Maybe S2 will sell more than S1? Let me dream).

Loved the opening. At first I thought it was kind of generic, but after watching it in proper HD I could appreciate it on its fullest and now I can't stop watching it

I didn't understand what was the deal with "we have 5 minutes to reach England" that Neshinbara was telling Seijun. And I also didn't understand why was Naruze crying. At first I thought it was because of Tomo's arrow hitting her, but those tears were more emotional than pain induced.

I can't wait for the Queen to appear. And then the Armada battle. This is gonna be glorious

And so, the second season picks up right where the first season left off after it started with the Spaniards invading the Musashi using baseballs, shot puts, track stars, and other athletic trinkets.

- That sure is convenient, having a sprinkler system only Tomo can activate.
- It's a mecha fight between Naomasa and Fusae.
- Even on a ship, Fusae can sure move around like a long path.
- Malga doesn't understand sex?
- Fake Suzaku is down a leg, but that's OK.
- Time for Masazumi to end the fighting. Whoops! Bad time to bring up the Utamaru.
- In comes Gin with her heavy artillery at long last.
- And Juana brings in the sin of dejection, over breast size.
- In comes a naked Tori, and Juana... you touched something you shouldn't be touching.
- Tori goes flying, caught by Tenzo. And now Tenzo is tainted.
- Time to get away. Onto England.
- It's Malga vs. the Oxford Student Council. Meet Dudley, Cecil, Johnson, and Shakespeare (and only Johnson is a guy).
- Just throwing liquid bombs won't cut it.
- Kimi is using her chest, and maybe Tomo should, too.
- Adele takes one in the head.
- It's a showdown between authors.

This season starts out with a lot of action, and the action scenes were the best part of the first season after spending a long time with all that confusing info dump. So it turns out that the teaser at the end of the first season is how the second season starts. Much like the first season, the girls are the highlights of the show, while Tori continues to be annoying by stripping all the time. Now, a new chapter starts with the Musashi students in England, and that is sure a rude welcoming they got. The episode ends with a pending showdown between Touissant and Shakespeare as to who can outwrite the other in this fight.

It's time to graduate from here. But there's still some business left.
The only thing better than anime is sports. Get hit hard and you got JACKED UP! Or else it's a C'mon Man!

Ahaha, Malga wishes Azuma would have given the ghost girl so she and Margot could raise it as their child. I especially like how she makes a point of noting that she and Margot can bear each others' children. And in the process, puts herself of having to explain "sex" to a boy. Including when she and Margot would do it. I love that the first thing she thinks of is "after we fight". Anyway, loooooooooved that scene.

I don't understand what the hell happened with Horizon interrupting Masazumi and her making the bad joke. That was just bizarre.

And Gin enters the fight! So does Nate! WHY IS THIS SHOW SO AWESOME.

LOL Horizon's jealousy

"Lets hurry up and have sex!" LOL Azuma. That was a pretty hilarious direction to go with that. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing" indeed.

Yaaaay, Malga gets to do a bit of fighting. Lots of Malga in this ep. She's severely outmatched, but the point was never to win, so she ends up being pretty badass anyway. Once she's out of the fray, she shows just how much that near-death situation was affecting her but she held together damn well while she was facing them. I love Malga so much.

Poor Adele is still being used as a human shield.

Neshinbara joins the fight, looks like he'll get at least some brief focus next time as he battles Shakespeare. A very cute Shakespeare.

Hmmm, no Suzu or Heidi at all in this episode.

----------------------------------------------------------

Wow, what an episode. It's impressive how much they managed to fit into that episode and that it actually worked. The bulk of the episode was an insane large-scale-fight involving a majority of the Musashi students and introducing a bunch of new fighters from Tres Espana and THEN it moves to a different location and starts a fight with a new group from a country that wasn't dealt with at all in the first season. And the whole thing was completely awesome.

Neshinbara wanted them to stall for time (hence his hand motions).

Heidi briefly spoke to Tomo, after she shot up the water crates.
