So, first episode met my expectations. It was amusing throughout and the first episode set up the major plot while introducing us to most (I think all) of the main characters and some of the side characters. The dude with the mask and the dude with the glasses and propeller were quite whacky (it seems Yuuki can only see it. I wonder why). Mifuyu's (she seems like a nice girl) healing was really cute and the reaction from Yuuki was good.
I did not expect what happened in the beginning - person getting hit by a car (at least she's still alive, somewhat) and what looks to be some shady business. I have a feeling who was driving the car in that flashback scene. The episode reaffirms my love for Chisato (I'm still miffed at her character design in the anime) - definitely my favorite character in the series. Hard to beat a genki, somewhat tsundere osananajimi that wears her hair in what looks to be twintails of sort. The undressing dressing scene in the beginning was done tastefully - fanservice without being excessive. And, it looks like she lives right near our MC, Yuuki, who seems to be pretty normal (he and Kyousuke would probably get along well...hahaha) - what's the deal with the broken terrace glass? Does she live next door? I do wonder what's the deal with Chisato not liking chocolate - the episode seemed to elude to some traumatic experience related to what is probably her brother. The subtitle of the game is "A boy yearning for true love and a girl hating chocolate." The hating chocolate part intrigued me so hopefully the anime will explain that. The club room is pretty crazy with the mechanized cabinet, table and the room has a beer tap (the teacher sure takes advantage of it...so laid back). The whole yaoi stick tasting was pretty funny. Looks like Yume likes Yuuki - I wonder how far that'll go in the show. The censorship that was discussed - a little weird since the light of god changes direction during like the one minute scene, but it could be explained since Morishita looked like she was near the window. It was blah, but it didn't really detract from the show overall. At least the show didn't fall into the typical cliche of Yuuki getting smacked. But, who knows what might be censored down the line. Speaking about cliches - happy that when the girl ran into Yuuki, nothing stupid happened like Yuuki somehow ending up on her or grabbing her breasts or something like that. Looking forward to next week since I found the episode to be fun to watch. The font used for the school reminds me of a Japanese chocolate brand, but I can't remember it. While watching the episode, I couldn't help think the font looked so familiar. Either I'm going crazy or ill find it.

This anime looks very interesting and fun too.
There are a lot of girls, but the guys aren't bad either. The whole "yaoi stick" chocolate snack thing was ROFL Looks like chocolate & sweets aren't the only thing that's going on. Attack incident from the beginning of the episodes looked promising. Disbanding clubs and the election sure gave them something to be fired up about. Will give this one a try.

o_0 We just started off what I expected to be a cute and fairly fun, light hearted VN adaptation with a girl being intentionally hit with a car and left for dead, and ends up in coma. With her eyes stuck open, rather than closed like they usually are in anime, which makes it extra horrifying.
Aside from that..... this is pretty obviously a visual novel adaptation, but its a pretty fun one and with a much larger group of girls than the norm. Chisato, Mifuyu and Yuuki's little sidewalk "skit" was particularly amusing. It also has some interesting elements in its setting/premise, with the focus on an election, treatment of students that use financial aid being a big issue, and something going on with the main guy apparently seeing things others don't. I'm assuming that last one will actually be significant at some point. Oh, and the main guy seems decent enough. Sure, he's generic, but he didn't reek of it, making think "oh god, give me something resembling a personality, anything at all!" like a lot of them do these days. And thankfully, the censorship problem was not nearly as bad as I feared. Only one scene had the horrible white out censorship eye pain and it took over seven minutes to get to it. There was an earlier scene that will probably be altered a bit to show more in the the BD/DVD release, but that kind of thing is acceptable. So yeah, that was pretty fun. I'm definitely up for more of that, and as long as the censorship problem doesn't get worse, I certainly won't be waiting weeks for a maybe uncensored version.

Someone finally uses a hybrid car for what it was designed for! You'd think that she might have heard the snow crunching under the wheels, though. Maybe she was just too lost in her thoughts...
The prologue and the OP don't look like they're related. Stage-play on a street corner. Ah! So that's what everyone means by beams of light... Not too subtle. Maybe she wasn't wearing panties, and that's why...? ;p Well, whatever she had (or didn't have) must have been very shiney, in order to reflect that much light at the camera. The rest of it's fairly average and not terribly interesting. Hmm... The prologue and the rest of the episode barely look like they're related. Quote:

I thought it was the same person, but I could be wrong. Before that I thought the girl that got run over was the girl that bumped into Yuuki near the end and what we saw in the prologue actually came later. Then it showed the scene in the hospital and I figured that had to be her.

Considering what happened in the beginning, I'm expecting some shady stuff during the election process.

Heh, that was pretty good. The stupid censorship wasn't as bad as it could have been, and just in general it was quite well done.
Main guy isn't a twit, he already knows most of the girls, there is a large secondary cast. This could be pretty good.

It doesn't look to be 100% the same font, but it's very similar to the old font Meiji used on their chocolate bars. The chocolate bars used during the eyecatch also looks like the product. I wonder if the resemblance is suppose to be a reference to Meiji or not.

Episode 1:
- Ahaha what? We start with a girl getting run over. - Okay, early prediction time! Based on character design alone, I guess my favorite of the main five is Isara. I love that hair. Chisato looks nice in a very female protagonisty osananajimi-y way, and I like that type so she's next. Michiru and Mifuyu tie next for opposite reasons (edge to Mifuyu I guess), while the "cool beauty" Satsuki brings up the rear for me, as that type almost always does. Now to actually just watch the darn episode and see if any of this is accurate. - Heh. I like their impromptu romance parody. - And fuck yeah Mizuhashi Kaori! +1000 points to Mifuyu! And Chisato is Nakamura Eriko, the voice of iM@S's Haruka! - Oh and good old Nakamura Yuuichi for the lead. - Speaking of iDOLM@STER, Imai Asami (Chihaya) for Mifuyu. And goddamnit censorship. - Actualy, what the fuck, I'm looking at the rest of the seiyuu cast and holy crap. Hikasa, Itou, Iguchi, Kayano, Chihara, Asakawa... awesome. - YAOI STICK. O_O - Everyone in the food club is pretty awesome. - Oh nice, Satsuki isn't the aloof type like I feared. She actually made a very good first impression. - She is kind of the villain right now though. She'll shut down this, um... totally pointless club! ...Well, can't blame her. - Propeller head doesnt realize he has one on his head. Actually, only the protagonist seems to notice. ![]() - Hahaha and they do it again with ther mask later. So maybe Yuuki really is the crazy one. ![]() - Yaaaay there's the one whose design I liked best. Kadowaki Mai is toooo cute! Right now all I can hear is Illyasviel von Einzbern, heh. - And she's one of the financial aid students? Now I'll probably just like her even more for being a hardworking type. <3 Aww... girl who got run over is in a coma. Poor Kana. I'm definitely leaning Isara and Mifuyu now. Pretty much everyone is awesome though. Too bad the animation is already getting seriously derpy at points. This show is going to be a mess by the end.
