English subs and that cheap? Damn. Too bad I don't care for Eureka Seven. I guess Bandai Visual is trying to make it tempting for people outside of Japan to own the show?

~4000 yen after discount for a 2-episode disc. That's where prices need to be.

So if i'm seeing this correctly, as of now E7 AO is going for 26 episodes (assuming vol.2-9 are three, I didn't check them all but it seems like it because its 72 mins and vol.1 is two). I was afraid it would be one-cour, thankfully it isn't. Now will it be 50? That's the real question.

For Vol.1 CD Japan is listing this:
Quote:
Includes badge, design works 1, booklet.
EDIT: it looks like artbox comes with Vol.9 LE (link)

Seems there are total 24 episodes only (2 episodes in vol.1 + 3 episodes in vol.2~8 + 1 episode in vol.9).

That's just the first disc. It's the normal "cheaper first disc with fewer episodes" routine. The rest of the series is 3 eps for 7350. Cheaper than Accel World or Hanasaku Iroha, but still pretty normal pricing.

I know that. I was just commenting that 5250 yen MSRP is where I'd like to see prices for a standard 2-episode BD go down to (~4000 yen after retailer discounts). And, 7350 yen MSRP for the rest of the series for 3-episodes limited edition BDs, while standard pricing, is pretty cheap when you consider the $/episode count. Even cheaper when you consider the regular edition is like 6800ish yen.
