That tape Ging made was kinda shocking, but also interesting.
Guess listening to that tape was a one time thing.
The Greed Island game search sure gave them a headache.
It's find the game, find Ging quest this time.

Episode 38:

- Huh? The "HUNTAA TO YOBU!" bit came back.
- Ging takes deadbeat dad to new levels.
- I like that Gon doesn't listen to the bit about his mom.
- "Joystation. It's three generations old." Is the "three generations" bit an addition to the anime to bring it up to date?
- "It's called Greed Island." ::starts twitching badly:: No... no, please no. Don't say that name. I've been enjoying the show so much so far... ;_; At least we ahvehave Yorkshin first.

This episode really emphasizes just how uselessly lost Gon would be, and how many mistakes he would have made, if he weren't with Killua.

-Kaiju Chinju is back!
-Ging is such a horrible father.
-Gon is such a good son.

-Gon suffers from numeracy. Poor lad.
-KAMEN RIAIDA, Kurama & Godzilla's groin.
-I guess Piggy has a full set of YuYu figures, a few Kanegons, and many things I can't make out.

Forget about that silly video game. Yorknew City is way more awesome.

-Kurapika's tale.
-He's kind of a dick.

-Best dominatrix power ever.
-Kuwabara with a magnificent mustache.
-Kurapika finds his way into the employ of an illegal body parts dealer.
-Well into the initiation/elimination round for that job.
-"These eyes of mine are burning red!" Keep those eyes open Kurapika.

Kurapika's quest for revenge is taking him down a dark and dangerous path. Also there is a mole man.

So we finally get to see someone else for a change.
This time it's Kurapika.
Looks like he's a Conjurer, but wants to learn Enhancer technique too.
Kurapika sure has an interesting plan, but long term plan of revenge.

Episode 39:

- This is the story of gentle mole man and vengeful Kurapika. Oh and hey there's Kurapika's chains.
- Now to introduce a bunch of characters I only very vaguely remember!

Kurapika is a very angry person.

- Catch me if you can.
- Gon’s mother is Mito-san! I hope he says it to her at least a couple times.
- They should skip Greed Island…really should.

-Relax guys it's only six ninjas-- nine ninjas. They grow weaker as their numbers in crease.
-Kurapika brings out the old ball & chain. I didn't know he was married...
-The butler's done for! Hah.
-Ooh nice fight animation.
-Kurapika Holmes in action.

-Elementary my dear moleman.
-The Great haiku of Mustache Kuwabara! Hehehe.
-I just realized Instant Lover girl looks like Flea from Chrono Trigger.
-Moleman is a molelady.
-Killua has a new outfit. looks like he joined a punk boy band.

And so ends Kurapika's side story. Next week; SPIIIIIIDERS. *squee*

The requirements were pretty high, but he is also very determined.
Guess revenge is his driving force.
Introductions and displays of power were really interesting.
So Killua's brother managed to discover something after all.

- Time for Kurapika's chains to make their debut.
- Also, uh, gentle moleman is a molewoman. I forgot about that.
- Super dominatrix hunter. The most fearful of all.
- And now they all converge on Yorkshin. Next episode, Spiders!
