Fairy Tail Discussion Thread II (Eps 49+)

Cana throws cards at a wall to decide the new teams! I feel like the writers just did the same thing with how random they ended up being. There are exceptions of course, most notably the Exceed team. I'm sure we'll see what they had in mind with each team soon. I hope it turns out well. I tend to find some of the chemistry being characters who rarely interact to be interesting. Of course, there's no telling what these filler writers will come up with. If it includes any more jiggling body parts, I will lose my confidence in the Fairy Tail anime writers forever.

Yet another end of the world arc.
Oracion Seis up to their old "let's destroy the world" tricks.
Find the clock and take it back Fairy Tail mission was predictable.
So they're destroying churches now, interesting.
Kinana's behavior was really weird. She's acting like a prophet of sorts.
Even Zentopians are having issues with Oracion Seis.
Those guys seem to be messing up everyone plans.
Will Neville, finally a name that could help Fairy Tail's quest.
They sure divided into interesting pairs and groups. Hope it'll help.

Mest turned into a drunk. Didn't expect that from him.
Natsu's team vs one of the Oracion Seis.
Exceed team vs Sammy. At least they were getting along.
Using Aquarius backfired, but that tends to happen a lot in her case.
Poor Gajeel stuck with lovey-dovey Juvia... ^^"
Wendy's team vs Grimm Reaper.
That was partly a pretty LOL fight.

Honestly, this filler is wearing me down. I hope it ends soon, as it's just a long rambling mess. A show that I looked forward to every week has now become a exercise in tedium.

BTW, does anyone know if this is ending soon? A-1 has some new kids show airing on the same channel and day which got me to wondering if perhaps FT will get replaced by it? It suck if this ended on a filler arc...

Finally decided to torture myself and catch up. Let's take the most annoying villains who previously appeared, some stupid butt pirates, and Oración Seis (who I thought were killed) and make them ridiculously strong since no one could reasonably defeat the present Fairy Tail if we didn't. But I think they overdid it. The highlight of this arc was Lucy's outfit. ^^; Well, it did get more interesting after Oración Seis entered. This show is for ten year olds and it's my fault for watching it. This show is for ten year olds...

It's interesting that Mest came back and that he's feeling rather guilty over abandoning Fairy Tail to their presumed deaths on Tenrou Island.

Also, while my previous suspicion was Michelle was a doll that Lucy played with as a kin, now I wonder if she's a ghost who is possessing a doll.

We're finally ready to find out just who or what this "Michelle" we've been following really is. I had some suspicions against her through her entire time in the series, but the length of time she was around and how good they made her out to be made me think those wouldn't be justified. But here we are.

Gray, Laxus + Dan team sure got an interesting opponent.
Dan is just hopeless though.
I wonder how that guy managed to survive up til now.
Each Fairy Tail team got one Oracion Seis member to fight against.
Geez, 2 or 3 against 1 and they were still struggling in a fight.
Mest thought they all died 7 years ago, that's why he turned into a drunk.
Boy will he be in for a nice surprise!
Katja and Nico's appearance was short, but probably important in some way, I guess.
Seems like Lucy's Michelle is an imposter with her own agenda.
Things are getting really interesting.

- It’s the turn of Oracion Seis to be back… and they are so powerful.
- Oh and this guy too… is back…
- Nice scene between Lucy and Michelle.
- Oops, they were not able to collect the pieces.

I feel like for this arc they wanted to bring back old characters, even the one we forgot about (well, wanted to) and made a story with them all.
