And now we have a one week release delay for the first set: Was 9/25/12...Now 10/2/12.

One thing I do like: S'More posted a dummy art proof on their facebook page, which looks like this:

Dumb, right? That's not even the 999 train! Well, according to the rep I spoke to (who asked not to be named), this was actually a ploy to get the show's fans, irritated with the hard subs, interested in the product again-- once they started voicing their disapproval, other sample covers were posted, and if you go to S'More's facebook page, you'll see fans engaged again, busily trying to decide which cover artwork they want...

So it was the true goal...if this is true, well this is sad.... sadder than I thought...

At this point, it just seems to me that S'More was born in the wrong decade. >_> But still, this is NOT how you try to please your fans.

In any case, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is probably the only thing I'll buy from that clueless company.

So, wait, has their consistent horrible grammar in their official company messages also been "a ploy to get the show's fans interested in the product again?"

I would probably be able to deal with the hardsubs and subpar packaging (though I've still already decided not to buy this), but S'More's attitude with this whole thing has made me pretty insistent on never giving them my money.

Thank Goodness Discotek has the movies, at least...

this is pretty much how I am in regards to this whole thing.

I may grab it later on, but only secondhand most likely, and I only ever do that for OOP or otherwise rare releases.

That being said though, I'm am hoping they take the time to learn from this and don't have future licenses full of WE DA VICTIM excuses (true or not, it's incredibly childish and embarrassing when you're a company) and YOU DONT TREAT ME WELL ENOUGH AND COMPLAIN A LOT (which while this is very true with anime fans [see: BD or no buy, dub or no buy, no buy if dub, GIVE ME 52 EPISODE BOXSETS FOR $30, etc] you should know not to mention that to your target consumer. especially if it's in a relatively niche market)

actually, maybe they should just fire the PR guy

What's another delay from S'more. Amazon.com has posted an updated release date of November 20th.
