...Uh wow, this thing is enormous. Sized like an old record. WhichI guess should have been obvious from the images but seriously where the hell am I going to store this?
![]() Looks awesome though. Just gonna be a pain to listen to the CDs in the car or something since I'm not taking this whole thing with me.

How heavy is the thing? I have to wonder if that attributed to a rather high shipping cost for my August HMV order (funny enough, I only paid 300 yen more than if I ordered all the same items from Amazon). Or it could have been KEI's mikucolor artbook - o_O I'll see tomorrow when hopefully I receive my package.

Pretty heavy. Can't weigh it myself but CDJapan says 1000g.

That is pretty damn heavy for a set. As I look at my shelves, I have no clue where I am going to put the sucker once I get it. Might need to sit on with the stack of artbooks/doujin I have on floor.

Decided to check it out since it was a live show on her birthday.
Nothing really special. First half is just videos of a few songs from Project Diva F. The second half is better since it's Miku actually on stage (projected on a water screen? Thanks to the crappy encoding...it don't look so good. Probably would have been more fun seeing it in person). She performed Weekender Girl, Odds and Ends, Time Machine (essentially the same set SEGA is playing at their amusement center) and 39. Seeing 39 being performed live was nice since it's new. Also, they are getting much better having Miku speak every time - sooo cute!

Well, we have our next Miku concert in Feb 2013 in Sapporo.
http://5pb.jp/mikupa/ Some wonder if it'll be mostly a rehash of the HK/Taiwan concerts or not. I know Singapore was a rehash of Mikupa Sapporo 2011 + one or two added song and then Miku 2012 built upon Singapore. While I love the concert feel of the Mikupa shows, I hope we get a good amount of new stuff in the show. It's getting a little tiring now seeing the same thing so many time even though it's still awesome.

I finally got around to watching the extras on this. On a whim I rewatched the concert again (Kanshasai '12 this time, I'd rewatched Mikupa '12 more recently), and this is the first time I'd used the BD version. In the credits there were a bunch of behind-the-scenes shots of production and that got me to check for an extras disc, and there was indeed one.
It has four things on it. One is the CMs, two others are the pre-concert stuff. Fujita Saki and Shimoda Asami for Kanshasai, Fujita Saki and Asakawa Yuu for Mikupa. But the other extra is an hour long behind-the-scenes, which is exactly what I was looking for. Obviously I missed a lot not knowing adequate Japanese but it was very interesting nonetheless. Lots of talk with the programming staff, as well as the live band members and the guest Ps (Oster, Deco, Toku, Lamaze, North-T, samfree, and I'm forgetting one or two). Perhaps most interesting is when they covered things that went wrong. There was a brief mention of the day one World Is Mine audio cut-out (complete with the emotional reaction after the concert was complete from the guy in charge of that) but a much more in-depth discussion of a big crisis the day before. The technical talk was over my head without subtitles, but it comes down to a frame rate discrepancy between their footage and the display system (60 vs 59.94, or maybe vice versa) discovered much too late. I didn't understand why it didn't come up in rehearsals but for whatever reason it did not. The camera catches the moment where the the CG lead on the Sega end learns of this, and afterwards the camera follows them back to their offices where things I don't really understand are discussed and there's really quite a lot of footage of them playing back material and realizing they'll be okay. It's all really cool to see. Oh and most of it is narrated by Hara Yumi... Takane! She has such a pleasant voice. Definitely worth checking out if you have the BDs.

Well, the latest 3/9 concert came and went.
http://otanew.jp/archives/6969502.html Man, that is a lot of people and the 3D model looks like it was slightly upgraded from the Taiwan and Sapporo 2013 show. Hopefully, more details, pics and vids start to come in over the next few days.

Hoping there was a decent amount of new stuff here, so I know if it's worth watching or not.

Looks like a few new songs, but some of them were performed at the Sapporo 2013 show first. I was hoping Weekender Girl would have been perform lived, but the seems like another more of a "best hits" concert compilation judging from the setlist. I still think the Sapporo 2011 show is the best concert.
