I've known more ridiculous titles that were used for other Pokemon films than this.

It's time to graduate from here. But there's still some business left.
The only thing better than anime is sports. Get hit hard and you got JACKED UP! Or else it's a C'mon Man!

Still, this title reflect the reality!

You mean Pokemon dub, right? All of the titles have been changed when dubbed. The original was "Kyurem vs The Sacred Swordsman: Keldeo". Sound better? No doubt they had to replace the word "sacred" from the title. Western audience and all.

I'm fully aware the titles are changed when brought over here

and here I'd say the American one is better, because even though it's silly at least it has something going for it. Japanese title just sounds incredibly generic, dull, and boring to me

also I personally don't really buy replacing the word "sacred" from the title because western audiences, as there really isn't anything overtly religious about the word and that's the only thing you could possibly argue for it

also because you can find the word with something else that very easily gets its religious connotations removed, including stuff most people probably wouldn't even know is religious unless they actually bothered to look it up and that doesn't even really need to be removed because of it

But with YGO, those were monster names on cards, not the title of a movie (although YGO is more lenient about names. I'm just thinking of Digimon where they couldn't even had a 'Holyangemon'...) In the news lately there's been... a lot of religious tension around the world lately, so I can definitely see it, especially now, being changed. I can see people having issues over it, especially since it'll be airing on TV. Pokemon already ruffled enough feathers with Jynx as it is. Anything to avoid something like that again, I can understand. Lots of public pressures...

Speaking of Pokemon titles, I still think 'Revelation Lugia' was the best title they had for any of the movies. Obvious reasons why that was changed too.
