At the rate Sentai picks up new titles, I wouldn't be surprised if everything the Japanese were willing to play ball on was cleaned out before FUNimation even showed up.

I think that is closer to the truth than we all might think, Sentai's strategy is to license then make most decisions about Dubbing and BD later. Funi doesn't have that luxury.
