The truth of Truth. So he's basically Eureka all over again. Then he pulls a Tetsuo and flies up into space to hang out on a satellite. And Elena starts to reveal her origins. She was brought here by Eureka, but what connection could she really have to the original series? I thought there would be more of those twists with Fleur shooting her dad, but I should have assumed that was just Truth. However, Christophe doesn't last much longer than that, but at least he goes out with a bang. Could that really be the end of Truth?

Default Episode 20

Interesting things are going on.
Fighting among themselves as well as the what they think is the enemy.
Things are getting very intense.
So even they have secrets hidden in the basement LOL
That IFO-0 looked a lot like trouble! And lots of it!
Looks like new allies just appeared!

Kind of an average episode at this point, and not quite as eventful as the previous one. And as it turns out, that wasn't really the end of either of those characters. That's kind of anticlimactic...

So it turns out that Truth is a Secret, but not just any ordinary one as he has absolutely no memory. That explains his destructive tendencies. Then it turns out Elena is from a different world. Seeing how GB is finished, Christophe causes an explosion to kill himself with Truth.

Great episode here as it explains a lot of the mysteries surrounding this show, and that Truth was totally misguided seeing how he had lost his way. And then there was Christophe who meant well when he formed GB, but rubbed the world the wrong way when he was withholding all that quartz, now trying to make things right again.

So Elena and Team Harlequin become enemies now that GB is no more, and Truth merges with the original IFO that is so destructive that it couldn't be controlled. But in seeing that a desperate situation like this might come, Christophe was smart enough to give his comrades asylum in Japan seeing how the Secrets were not the enemy, but his company ended up destroying them because the truth got manipulated.

After a tremendously impactful episode, it follows up with a rather underwhelming episode where now, the Allied Forces are out for blood over a twisted truth. So it looks like the pieces are in place for things to get settled with the next episode being about Elena, now an enemy.

The coral carriers thing was pretty interesting.
Eureka makes another appearance.
Seems like when she shows up things get even more complicated.
Secrets attacking other secrets, interesting.
Elena vs Ao.
Things are getting slowly out of hand.

So Elena has a grudge against Eureka for abandoning her on Earth, and wants to return to where she came from. Except that she really is an Earthling named Ellen Brooks who was saved by Eureka during an outbreak. And then a fight breaks out where Elena is fully convinced that Eureka ruined her life and is taking it out on Ao. The quartz gun was moving on its own until Maggie intervenes. And now, Truth is back, and he is attached to the IFO to set the stage for the final fight.

This was a great episode here, learning a ton about Elena's background. I knew that something was unusual about her considering that Elena Peoples is not her real name, and that's what is was. Lots of major movement in this episode, and in the next episode, it's time to put an end to Truth's misguided idea of justice that was the result of not having any memories, and letting Johanson brainwash him. While he is as dangerous as ever, he won't sneak up on anybody now that he is the IFO, and not a shape-shifting entity.

Truth totally lost his mind.
That is a really really bad thing.
Ao vs Truth! Nothing new there.
Well, at least we learned some new stuff about Truth.
The experiments with coral carriers went out of control.
Looks like Truth has his own plan and isn't as controllable as they thought.
Ao- Naru relationship has potential if only they'd relax some more.
The future part was interesting.

Default Ova

This was a pretty LOL OVA.
Especially Ao as a girl part ^^
Well, Ao did want to be part of the PR team LOL
It totally backfired on him though.
Think he'll be careful what he wishes for in the future!
The snowman Secret kinda saved this OVA from being all girly.

This video had not been working properly until just today.

So Truth is on a rampage now that he has fused with the IFO, and Ao and Naru finally get back together. Turns out that Truth can now kill all those infected by the Scubs. The final battle has begun over Okinawa, and Ao once again is determined to put a stop to this ex-Secret's rampage. And in the epilogue, Renton has finally appeared and is out to rescue Eureka.

Nice episode overall as a lot of things are revealed. But it is the appearance of Renton as a grown-up guy ready to join the fight that really makes this episode so nice. Renton now has Holland's seiyuu, and I believe that Funi will use one of their own VA's to voice him since I just can't see Johnny Yong Bosch fitting this version of Renton. Two more episodes to go, but it's going to be a long wait until that happens.
