Oh, this should be fun once Kirito and Lyfa somehow find out who they really are...haha.

Also, Kawahara seems to like to write crazy, pure-evil villains.

I have to wonder if Asuna is going to actually do anything in this arc besides be trapped in a cage though.

I think the whole Suguha should have recognized Kirito (as the viewer we know him as Kirito, but that's not his real name and Suguha probably doesn't know that too) thing is an adaptation problem instead of something from the novel. Due to the voice, we know who she is, but, in the novel, we probably didn't know until a little later on (like when Suguha logs out and we the poster of her online character). Also, looking at the novel illustations - Kazuto's avatar seems to have sharper facial feature which would sort mask who he is. There is also the possibility of voice-masking (I think relentlessflame pointed this out somwhere else) in the game too.

Eh, it was good until Sugou appeared. Can't this show have a villain more in-depth than just some guy hungry for lust, power, and money?

Anyways, time to officially put this show on hold, I guess.

Sort of makes you wonder just how photo-realistic the graphics in SAO/ALO are. I mean obviously in the anime they both look like anime (I'm so glad they didn't render the in-game characters in horrible CG! ), and even the design in the novels are done in anime/manga-style. But I wonder if it really looks "life-like" to them, or if they can just look at people and tell they're computer renders? Who knows...

If nothing else, I do enjoy the fact that the anime gets us to think about these sorts of questions. :p

It's amazing how trouble always finds him somehow..
Asuna still trapped by that creep... she just can't catch a break.

Suguha is totally the main character now. Every scene with Kirito also has her, there are plenty of scenes with her and not Kirito, and all the thoughts we hear are hers. I definitely wasn't expecting that, since for the first half of the series it seemed like Kirito's little "sister" would never have much importance. Plus, some fanservice with her that's more than this series has really done until now.

Poor Suguha though....

Oh, right...I still find it really silly that the keypad to unlock Asuna's gate is on the inside. What happened to the good old fashion key or key of some sort?

- Heh. Suhuga's groupie has it bad. And she's having none of it.
- Suguha in her underwear because... who cares? <3
- And there the camera goes into her boobs again lol. Every third shot of Suguha involves her boobs, I swear.
- Good morning, Yui!

- Oh look, ain't this confrontation with Leafa's party members some deja vu? ::yawns::

- I can't get enough of Suguha being mean to Recon.
- Or of Yui. Fucking adorable oh my god.

- Oh look it's the piece of shit again. I don't even give a damn about Asuna anymore either. Every second she is forced to spend in this guy's presence ruins her character that much more. ::skips scene entirely:: And I'm going to skip every other scene he appears in because fuck this.

- How about a shower scene instead? Much better. Also holy shit those are enormous. o_O
- Back to the game. Kirito logs out. Yui becomes Kirito's rape protection because oh the things Suguha would do to his lifeless avatar if Yui weren't there...
- YUI IS ADORABLE. Yui and Suguha talking. Nobody else is around. In at least this moment, SAO is a good show again.

But I still don't care about the plot anymore. I just consider it an obstacle to be overcome.
