Cute hiking anime confirmed for winter! The anime designs look fantastic. They're adapted from Shiro's originals by Matsuo Yuusuke, who did the really great designs in the Black Rock Shooter OVA.

Well, they sure are really cute. At this point, this is definitely an import possibility.

Senran Kagura has been confirmed as another Winter 2013 series. Looks like... a fanservice battle series. Most of those lately don't work for me but it could be something good like Sekirei. Fingers crossed.

Kotoura-san is a 4koma romcom manga about a girl who transfers into a new school and oh by the way she has ESP powers.

It's being directed by Oota Masahiko, the lovely individual who also directed the first season of Minami-ke and both seasons of Yuru Yuri, so color me excited. Aoshima Takashi, who also worked on Minami-ke and Yuru Yuri is handling the script.

Manga has three volumes of material published. Studio is AIC Classic. Not the best bit of AIC but it'll do.

Some of this is old news, I had just missed it. Also, the chart lists AKB0048 Next Stage as Winter, but I don't think that's confirmed yet. Although it's likely, considering they said "early 2013".

3. Minami-ke Tadaima

And my most anticipated new shows are
