I stopped caring about her after she threw herself in front of Heathcliff's sword. I'd already heard she was destined to be a damsel-in-distress for this arc, so that pretty much eviscerated what tiny shreds of the Asuna I wanted to like were left. But I had no idea just how awful it would be since I knew nothing about the villain.

Maybe she'll do something again later on. But if there's one consistent theme in this show, it's snatching everything good away from Asuna every time it looks like there might be the slightest bit of progress, so I won't get terribly excited even if she does manage to, say, escape of her own initiative. You just know something stupid will happen to her to offset it. So for now, her character is dead to me.

I think they're proportionally even larger than Leafa's.

Yes, SAO, we know she's busty!! Don't (literally) shove it in our faces so often! She's a cute character, but it's overkill. Yui was adorable. Annoying-as-Hell villain doesn't know that Kirito's playing the fairy game? Was he that sure that Kirito'd be traumatized by SAO that he didn't set things up so that the creation of a character named 'Kirito' would raise a flag? <sigh>

Hey, don't take away one of the few remaining positives this show has left.

I don't mind seeing 'em, but when the camera just sits there and stares... If I wanted it that much, I can hit 'pause.' <sigh> Yeah, there isn't much for me to look forward to with this series, either. ;_;

- Suguha in her underwear. Some welcome fanservice.
- Every time I see Yui, I find her way too adorable and cute. - After that, the WORST antagonist ever created. - Suguha shower scene. Definitely the best thing to make me forget about the worst of this show. - Oh wow… The discussion between Yui and Leafa was so nice. If Suguha/Leafa and Yui were not there, I would have dropped this show, that for sure.

Kirito is now on a mission to reach the top of the World Tree with Leafa teaching him the ins and outs of ALO. It turns out that Leafa is Sugu, but Kirito doesn't know it. And Sugou has come out with the truth to Asuna that he is using ALO to make himself rich and that he kept 300 players captive by swiping their consciousness while leaving SAO. He can control memories at will so he can cover his tracks.
Overall, this is a nice episode to break everybody into the world of ALO as now, Kirito is in for a fight to the top of the World Tree where Asuna is stuck in a bird cage. Let's see where things go from this point.

Leafa makes the decision to help out Kirito on his quest, saying that she had always planned on deserting her homeland at some point. Of course, Sigurd is up in arms about this decision, and Recon is keeping a close eye on him. Then the two take turns logging out and watching each other's back, not realizing that they are in the same house. It turns out that they are being followed. And then Sugou reveals his whole plot, while Asuna secretly looks for a way out.
It's another great episode here, though I could do away with the Suguha fanservice. It looks like Sigurd is apparently chasing after Leafa and Kirito, and now Asuna has a way of escaping her cage after she used the mirror in her bedroom to get the exit code. Sugou just continues to be a loathsome guy who is being highly manipulative and getting away with everything that he has done now since he can tinker with the memories of his subjects.
