I would pick the K-On! Anthology Comic Manga just because I love K-On! so much. I hesitated because it is not done by Kakifly, but then I cheated and read some of it online.

I was thinking about Pani Poni because I really like the anime, but one scanlation site that I use says that it has been licensed so they removed it from the site. But Anime News Network does not show it as being licensed. So I do not know who is right. Maybe it is a license that has not been announced yet?

I wonder since when it was removed on that site. Let's hope for some good news soon. Pani Poni is one of the "I don't remember why I never watched it" kind of show.

Would PaniPoni count as a 4koma in the traditional sense?

I have the last volume of it, and it seems to be a pretty mixed batch of 4koma and non-4koma strips.


Not that I don't want it to be licensed. It's certainly one of my favorite anime ever produced, so I'd be all over the manga getting licensed.



Also, while I'm here, can anyone list me good licensed 4koma that aren't Azumanga Daioh, K-ON!, Sunshine Sketch, and the Haruhi spinoffs? In stockand/or on preorder is preferred, but I'd be willing to look into OOP titles too.

As long as there is a part of it that is 4koma, it does count. It simply note this way (main post): Pani Poni *1-page manga* *Hybrid*

I would suggest GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class. Volume 3 is hard to find though (let's hope they will print more)... There is others that are really good, you can look at the list on the main post and ask.

4koma about an art design or 4koma with art design being the premise that sets the story up?

Not sure if it makes any difference, but a good amount of the strips seem to be multipage too from what I can tell. Typically not more than 3-4 pages, but still.

There are some single page non-4koma strips though too. It's a very weird format for a manga that I've never really seen before.
