Well, Bandai has some more shipments to make and it all comes to an end this month. After that, I can see other companies begin to rescue their titles. Funi should be quick to snap up the Eureka 7 license and I can imagine that Sentai will do the same with the first season of K-On! and other titles. It will be interesting to see who gets all the Gundam licenses. And Cowboy Bebop should be rescued pretty quickly, and I could see Sentai getting it as a way to promote Kids on the Slope, either them or Discotek.

It's time to graduate from here. But there's still some business left.
The only thing better than anime is sports. Get hit hard and you got JACKED UP! Or else it's a C'mon Man!

Personally, I see most (if not all) of Bandai's Cartoon Network canon ending up with FUNimation. That would keep the broadcast rights within arm's reach of Williams Street and Toonami should they want them. This of course would put them in the awkward position of having to choose whether or not to commit to the Gundam franchise sooner rather than later. IMO, Sentai getting Bebop would be bad news for Williams Street since the second their broadcast rights expire they'll be put in the awkward position of negotiating with terrorists (ie The Anime Network).

It could be something new (as unannounced license). It could be something like BRAVE10 or Daily Lives of High School Boys. It's anyone's guess at this time.

Nothing is officially confirmed (theatrical or not) by Madman Ent. This above announcement is all about showcasing Evangelion artwork.

Rurouni Kenshin - New Kyoto Arc knocked off from the list. What will be next?

- When will K-ON! Movie be announced?
- What about Code Geass: Akito the Exiled (OVA)? Who ever has this probably has the inside track of rescuing Seasons 1 & 2.

I'm going to guess the following:

Bakuman
Officially announced by Viz at Sakuracon for a debut on Neon Alley later in the Spring

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled
Announced at Anime Boston/Anime Next/Anime North/Fanimecon by FUNimation

Gosick
Announced by a branch of Section 23 in January for release in April

Hellsing Ultimate IX and X
Announced by FUNimation at Ohaiyocon

HunterXHunter
Announced by either FUNimation or Sentai at Anime Boston/Anime North/Anime Next/Fanimecon

K-On! the Movie
Announced by Sentai in January for release in April

Nichijou
Announced by a branch of Section 23 in January for a release in April

One Piece Film Z
Announced by FUNimation at Ohaiyocon

One Piece Season 6
Announced by FUNimation at NYCC 2013

Also I submit for your approval rumor and speculation that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure might be licensed or Warner Bros. Japan is looking to strike a deal. Namco Bandai has apparently trademarked the tie-in game All-Star Battle in the US.

I will think about this one a bit. I'm not sure if I want to add this one at this time.

To add fuel to the JoJo rumor: the Mayo Chiki manga mentioned it by name. Based on how Hayate handles references to other manga, I expected it to be censored in SOME fashion. But no, it wasn't censored at all, not a single letter. And the back cover makes mention of Sentai having the Mayo Chiki anime, so I'm thinking there may be some link there.

That, or it's completely unlicensed and thus 100% free range.
