Rich does good work.
I appreciate the kind words, touma. I do want to mention that there were many people other than me that worked on the new search over the last couple months, it involved everyone on my team of graphic designers and programmers.

We had some internal mockups for building more complex queries, we weren't happy with them to say the least (at one point, it ended up looking something like Mathematica's editor). We're taking our time on adding additional functionality, but we do intend to eventually add everything the current "advanced search" has and more.

Right now, the system that's providing this doesn't have the integration done that's required for in-stock searches, though that's pretty high on the list. A similar problem exists for pricing. We're working hard though on getting things added.

Like, it's not one wave then when next wave comes out previous wave goes back to the normal pricing or anything.
They are cumulative.

Keep an eye on counters though. Some items are only while supplies last.
Alright thanks.

Luckily so far the majority of titles I'm interested in don't have counters, and the one that does has an insanely high one.

The only one I want the most from T2. I've already bought memories on iTunes, so I'll contemplate whether or not I'll pick up the BD release.

Hmm, I definitely like it.

One suggestion, it would nice if you could set a date range so that you could buy stuff that came out from date [x] to date [y], for stuff that has release dates on their pages anyway.

I can't give you that by release date right now (that's coming soon), but you can search for products we've added to the site recently by doing a search like: createdTime:["8/1/2012" TO "8/31/2012"]

It's a bit of a workaround, but better than nothing perhaps.

Wow, I wasn't even aware that you do that to begin with.

Thanks for the heads up, rharms. And tell Rich to keep up the great work.

From the second wave, Fate/Stay Night: Ultimate Blade Works is the only thing that catches my attention. Let's see what the final pre-12 Days wave brings.

It's time to graduate from here. But there's still some business left.

rharms = Rich.

I've had a whole group of people here working on the new search, I'll be sure to pass along your comments to everyone.
