Default Seitokai no Ichizon Lv.2, TV rebroadcast

http://0taku.livedoor.biz/archives/4335119.html

Unsurprisingly, Ichizon follows the same path as Ebiten. It's a Niconico Douga-only series this fall, then moving onto TV for wider distribution the following season, Winter.

Not sure I'm seeing the benefit of this method. I can think of three (Upotte, Ebiten, this) and all are total sales flops. Just coincidence I guess.

Kadokawa has bought shares of Niconico and coincidentally publishes those three series. You could also make an argument for Mirai Nikki being somewhat included since Niconico was a sponsor of that show (not seen the others, so I don't know if they sponsored these three) and it aired on Niconico prior to TV as well (by hours, not seasons). It's likely a strategy to get people to watch them on Niconico, gaining ad revenue prior to the usual methods. Not like it would hurt their sales anyways.

Do you need a premium membership to watch these on Nico? I have one but I'm blocked for being outside of Japan anyway. If so, and if they have a stake in Nico, I guess they could be getting part of the premium membership subscription revenue too.

No, but they're just live broadcasts similar to what you'd see on TV. Unlike nearly everything but Chuunibyou, that's the only time you can watch it on niconico. You can't timeshift it either.

Ok, good to have a confirmation. CR should get it in Winter.

I've been reading this manga from the beginning. This one in particular is going to be really, really good if they do it right. This has the potential to be another Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai.....a very guilty pleasure anime......

Default Ishida to Asakura confirmed winter

Gag comedy, wouldn't be surprised if it's short episodes.

Default Re: Winter 2013 charts and general news

OK, let's see what Winter 2013 has in store for me (no more Kyoto Animation after three delicious seasons... I'm sad).

Ai Mai Mii
- I know nothing about this, and I don't like the promo art. Meh.
AKB0048 Next Stage
- Never watched season one.
Amnesia
- Brain's Base, please do something good instead.
Axis Powers Hetalia: The Beautiful World
- Hetalia stopped being fun for me around season three... Or four. I don't exactly remember.
Bakumatsu Gijin-den Roman
- Oh boy, TMS! Be still my beating heart.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next
- I'll watch season one in a couple weeks. If it's fun, more is always welcome.
Chihayafuru 2
- Never watched season one.
Cuticle Tantei Inaba
- The director never made his own series, and the premise does not sounds so interesting.
Plus, >ZECKS. Meh, we'll see.
Da Capo III
- Never watched season one. Or two.
GJ-bu
- Sounds like a mini-episodes show to me. Am I wrong?
Hakkenden
- Studio Deen and pretty boys. I couldn't care less.
Ishida to Asakura
- Another 2/3/5 minutes show.
Kotoura-san
- Could be fun. For more than 3 episode? Who knows.
Love Live! School Idol Project
- Sounds generic at best.
Mangirl!
- Make me laugh, Dogakobo.
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha
- Easily the show I'm looking forward to the most. But ARMS is probably the crappiest anime studio alive, at least for me. Please don't fuck this up. Please. PLEASE.
(Hoods did a good job with Nazo no Kanojo X, guys. HOODS! You can make something that is not just porn too! ...Maybe.)
Minami-ke Tadaima
- Never watched season one. Or two. Or three.
Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?
- LNs can have horrible, horrible titles. Does not sound exactly interesting.
Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru
- I'm not an A-1 fan. AnoHana aside, I almost always find their shows mediocre and overrated (yes, I'm looking at you, Sword Art Online).
But the director for this worked on the delicious Usagi Drop. Can I hope?
Puchimas! -Puchi Idolmaster-
- Idolmaster, aka very very cute girls and nothing else. I'll give it a chance.
Sasami-san@Ganbaranai
- SHAFT and comedy? I don't know. Maria Holic was fantastic at the start, but became pretty boring later on. Negima was just bad.
It's not like they're going bankrupt anyway, lol
Senran Kagura
- Boobs.
Senyuu.
- Yamakan saving anime again.
Vivid Red Operation
- Cute girls doing military things? It deserves a chance at least.
Yama no Susume
- Cute girls looking well drawn but a bit too young for me.
Also, I don't see any panzer.
