The four main characters are finally back together again, after the majority of the series thus far. It's weird to see Kurapika so calm around these guys compared to the beast he has been for the past long arc. Leorio does note that he seems a lot more intense, but if only he knew what he was like when these guys weren't around. It is still pretty unbelievable how amazing he got so soon after learning Nen. He really shouldn't have believed that Chrollo and the others were dead, though. The look on his face when he finds out the truth is magnificent. The fun isn't over yet. Far from it. And now that Chrollo has stolen this unmatched ability, Hisoka can't hide his true intentions from the rest of his group. Bit that he seems to mind. This should also be a very fascinating event to see unfold.

It was nice seeing those 4 together again.
Kurapika sure is risking a lot for his revenge.
The others didn't agree with his method much.
That fortune telling by Phantom Troupe's boss was interesting.

- The gang is reunited. Leorio is still kinda annoying.
- And Kurapika, you ought to have kept that secret.
- More future poetry. Shizuku cannot die! ;_; Give it up Nobunaga. Or fight Kurapika yourself if you want.

- YES! Hisoka orgasm face. We haven't seen one of those in so long.

- Kurapika has five chains, with five different powers. So only one of them is Spider-specific.

-The start of Killua's part of Operation: Find Busty Woman With A Large Nose has hit a snag. 50 copied buildings worth of snags.

HxH is one of the few series that can pull off making two simultaneous strategy meetings interesting. No action. No fighting. Just 16 people in two different places sitting down & talking about what to do for the next 2 days. Yet it's riveting. Mainly because of Hisoka. <3

Hisoka can't tell the others why he... can't tell them about his the traitorous implications of his prophecy. Chrollo figures everything out, which brings back good old Orgasm Hisoka, complete with him reminding himself how much he has to be the one to kill him, but in fact he had changed his own prophecy to fool the others and to get what he wants. I love how much of geniuses they all are.

Meanwhile, the protagonists prepare for their assault on the Troupe, and everyone convinces Kurapika to share his secrets and let them help. It works out, and we learn a lot more about Kurapika in the process.

That Phantom Troupe became a bit too obsessed with those fortunes.
They were totally busting their heads trying to get info from Hisoka.
Kurapika explaining how his chains work to Killua, Gon and Leorio.
It was interesting info.
Kurapika got Phantom Troupe very worried.

- I like the thoughts of Killua when Gon was trying to convince Kurapika to let them help.

I actually rewatched a few episodes of the old series this time for the first time in more than a year. Even now, there are still some things I like better about that one. Like certain character designs, and not using the same OP 52 episodes in a row.

-Yeah, Silva looked way better in the old version. Blueish-white hair rather than blonde.

-Wait, is En the same thing Nobunaga was talking about earlier? And he could only do 50 meters, right? Zeno claims to be able to do 300...
-The fuck? He and Silva have met? That wasn't in the last anime... interesting...
-Although it does explain how he knew Chrollo could steal people's abilities. I guess I just assumed he wasn't there when Silva fought that other Phantom Troupe member...

Well, that was pretty good. Very close to the end of the old series now.
