When I was asking TRSI's Maggie(sp?) if my Bakemonogatari set had shipped today, I asked her about the Lain set, which they're also holding for me. She bumped a few things from some other orders of mine into the shipping channel (to depart Monday), but she didn't think that the Lain set could be set free w/o the accompanying "gift with purchase item" since they're all part of a bundle. I know that I've received discs before the bonus item (or was it the other way around) in the past, so I'm not sure if things have changed at TRSI, or she was just erring on the side of caution.

When they (seem to) do good work with a show that I like (admittedly a rare occurance), I'll actually buy it (and maybe wait for the reviews before I open it, just to be certain). This'll be the first Funi product that I've purchased since last year's release of the second Eden of the East movie. From then until now, they've had titles that I'm not interested in or they've done an unexceptional job with something that I might otherwise have considered.

I'll be triple-dipping with SEL, since I've got the original R1 DVD release, and also the Japanese BD set that this Funi release is based upon. It's an excellent series that should be on everyone's shelves (whether it's a Funi version, or another company's). ^^

Did she say when they're gonna ship out Lain w bonus item? It's the only item in my order that's left to be "reserved"

(Since i live in Denmark, all items have to be in stock before they dispatch)
