I'm pleased that Williams Street and Funimation are putting on new series as other shows finish.

Hmmm. Reading the reports at Son of the Bronx, thanks WTK, only on the premiere week did those two shows outperform Eureka Seven. I guess they want to give the original programming a boost. I'm thinking it won't help, Eureka Seven will still get better ratings.

It's amazing that Cowboy Bebop consistantly pulls each week.

Overall, I'm satisfied with Toonami. It was a needed refresh of the block.

S-cry-ed and G Gundam would be excellent additions to the new Toonami; call it the double cheese block. Speaking of oldies, I think the world is ready for the return of Witch Hunter Robin.

I have yet to watch GXP, so I plan on checking it out on Toonami when it is out. I am still way behind on Casshern Sins, so I need to start watching it.

Just a head's up, Bleach is going into hiatus for a period of at least eight weeks starting December 1st. They have something to fill that gap in the meantime.

Well, I already put my two cents in on an outlandish option for what could be replacing Bleach during those 8 weeks.

Personally, while that's a viable theory I don't think the hiatus will actually be 8 weeks. I think they'll keep Bleach on the sidelines until Samurai 7 finishes its run. That's 11 weeks, enough time for a regular noitaminA release. If that's the case, Eden of the East and [C] seem like the most viable candidates.

EDIT: Nevermind, I re-corrected my math there. I keep forgetting the hiatus doesn't kick in until December 1st.

Let's see, if we take DeMarco's statement literally, then new episodes of Bleach won't resume until January 20th. Toonami will air the 26th and final episode of Samurai 7 around February 10th, with something hopefully new taking its spot the week after. So yeah, if an 11-episode series does air beginning December 1st, it would end exactly at the same time that Samurai 7 ends its run on Toonami.

I can't comment on C-Control since I haven't seen it. As for Eden of the East, as much I love it, I don't see it fitting Toonami all that well. It's not exactly the fastest-paced series out there. But it's certainly a better option than GXP.

And now this happened:

My only thought is they intend to air Hellsing Ultimate after all.
