Default OP/ED information

Aya Suzaki, a very new seiyuu, is playing Tamako Kitashirakawa and singing the opening/ending themes.

The OP/ED singles will go on sale 2013/01/25 for 1200 yen each. They are sold by Pony Canyon, so it looks like Tamako Market has a slightly different production company than Chuunibyou (no Lantis).

Well, just for your information. Though I don't know how the scriptwriter and the director read the name '北白川' in the anime, generally speaking, the reading of the Japanese proper noun '北白川' is 'Kitashirakawa'. 'Shira' is a variant of 'shiro', which is often used when it is combined with another word (in this case, 'kawa').
And '北白川 Kitashirakawa' is also a place-name in Kyōto.

In this excerpt from Heike Monogatari, '白拍子' is read as 'shirabyōshi'.

Since Vocabulario da Lingoa de Iapam com Adeclaração em Portugues says, 'xirabiǒxi', this shows that the variant was also used in the Muromachi and Azuchi-Momoyama periods.

I also found that, but accidentally typed "ro" instead of "ra" because I was in a rush to get some errands accomplished this morning. Thank you for your correction.

F*ck this, GirlPan and Chuu-2 were suppoed to be my two final imports (exceot for any future attractive and cheap-ish BD boxes starting with OreImo and Another) before becoming a broke student.....................................

Second TV ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwUnP...layer_embedded - the girl at the top's voice reminds me of Yui!

I still don't think Midori is actually going to be romantically involved. But if she is, the word I would use is the opposite of amazing, because then we get to spend a cour watching her stand absolutely no frickin' chance against the M. Not exactly my idea of a fun time. I suppose if anyone could possibly pull such a thing off without driving me crazy it'd be Yamada and KyoAni but even with them involved the absolute best I could feel is "deeply apprehensive".

Of course, if she were romantically involved and "won", then SHOW OF THE CENTURY, but it absolutely positively won't happen. Ever.

I dunno, the guy is an Osananajimi, so by all rights he has no chance either.

Besides >Kyoani

Also Yamada Naoko and Yamaguchi Reiko.

Default Timeslots

Tamako Market will begin airing on Wednesday, January 9th at 24:30 on Tokyo MX. Sound familiar? It's the same timeslots as Chuunibyou, except for the loss of Animax on Thursdays and the 18 day delay for BS Animax. Every other slot remains the same after a two week break for the New Year's activities.

Eh, only seems to apply when there are multiple suitors of the same gender to compete against.

There are some things beyond even KyoAni's powers, I fear. A Midori End would make Endless Eight look like as conventional a storytelling decision as a beach episode in a fanservice show.

This is something that I am fundamentally incapable of not being pessimistic about, because all the evidence of my years of watching anime just says it can't and won't happen, no matter how much I'd love to see othewise. Best I could possibly hope to expect if they make Midori a romantic interest is a draw - no official couple at the end.
