Ahh man I hope NISA gets around to re-releasing s1 and s2 on Blu-ray, hell I'd double dip for such an amazing series. Once again, the packaging is beautiful and consistent (especially the art book). Very high quality product that proves you don't need to take out a loan to buy anime (*coughaniplexusacough*) to get premium treatment.

Thank goodness season 4 will be out sooner than I thought (hopefully the march date stays the same)

In regards to why Natsume's Book of Friends Seasons 1 & 2 were not on Blu-ray...I got this response via NIS America:

We are definitely aware of the up-converting, however in order to make sure the Season 1 and 2 Premium Edition was affordable, we opted to go with the 4 DVDs.

And also I was told that the subtitles on Season 3 (Blu-ray) should be locked.

It looks the lack of Blu-ray isn't affecting S1 & 2 sales? S1 & 2 Premium Edition is currently OOS: LINK.
