Volume 2 will be released on January 16, 2013. It will come with episodes 3 and 4. Included on the set will be the DEPTH OF FIELD and Black Action Report bonus footage as well as the online next episode previews and audio commentary by staff/cast. Included in the digipak/3-sided case will be a card from Nozomi Ousaka, the original illustrator, and 4 eyecatch postcards. There will also be a 24 pg full color booklet. Here's a production mock-up of what everything will look like.

I wonder if they'll attach the next episode previews to the end of the episodes. I kinda hope they won't, and assume they won't since they're listed as part of the bonus features, but you never know. K-ON!(!) on DVD/BD had episode previews attached to the end of episodes that didn't have any during the original broadcast.

Just a random note. I believe this is the first Kyoto Animation show that Pony Canyon has released which has the Kyoto Animation logo on the spine. Kadokawa did this starting with Haruhi in 2009 and have been on the spines ever since, but the previous Pony releases (the Key works and K-On!) have not had them.

textless OP
This is the second version of the OP, not the first one.

Edit: while I'm the last post right now, how about some screencaps of DEPTH OF FIELD?

Looks like a DVD standard size digipack. Would've preferred DVD sized, myself, but oh well.

Yeah, true, just used to seeing KyoAni shows in BD cases/BD case-sized digi's plus that chu2koi volume really stood out in that picture making it look taller than it really is.

Hm. Instead of the TBS logo, it seems.
