I needed something to do while listening to Christmas music today, so I whipped up a few weekly specials for everyone! Fun fact: there is an English Pokemon Christmas CD. Not only does it feature the holiday classic "I'm Giving Santa a Pikachu for Christmas" (a touching duet between Ash and Prof. Oak), but it's firmly part of the "4Kids song writers really shipped Ash/Misty for some reason" era, so if you liked "Misty's Song" (I won't judge - I mean, I own this CD) you'll love its sequel, "Under the Mistletoe." O_o

So anyway, there wasn't enough Sentai stuff on sale between Black Friday, the 12 Days, and the specials, so yesterday we added some more titles just so we could sell them to you at a discount. Phi-Brain, anyone?

We got in Is This a Zombie? in the warehouse this week, and the sparkles are just perfect. They're coated with plastic or something, so they're smooth and won't come off, but they look really sparkly and are pretty much the best design choice possible for the show. A limited edition worth its salt for sure - and I should probably mention it's on special, too.

As far as this sale goes, my wallet is in the safe zone once again. In the meantime, I just placed my order for stuff for the 12 Days sale. I decided to go with Croisee in the Foreign Labyrinth, Kurenai, Oblivion Island, Okami-san and Her Seven Companions, and Tales of Vesperia. I am still considering .hack//Quantum, Darker Than Black 2, Marimite, Kimi ni Todoke, Psychic Squad, and Shiki (I am expected to order at least one more of these items to go with a couple other items that are not part of this sale, but I haven't decided which to go with just yet).

Blizzard and Right Stuf - Dec. 19, 2012

A pre-end-of-the-world blizzard is currently hitting the Midwest! The office received 12.3" of snow overnight, with another 3" or so expected this morning. Winds are currently 30-40mph and expected to increase to 50+mph this afternoon.

Although we do have limited staff here at the office at the moment, we are not sure at this point if we will have pick up of outgoing packages, and we're holding off telling the rest of the staff to come in until we see improvement in the weather. (We're not quite as well-equipped for this weather as our penguin friends!) Email responses will be delayed, and we have very limited phone coverage.

The website is not affected and is operating as usual. (So keep those orders coming!) We are going to go ahead and leave up the 2 current sales through tonight, so you last minute shoppers can take advantage of our "blizzard sale extension." The specials will change tomorrow instead of today.

Will post an update here a bit later.
