I'm pretty sure the poison doesn't allow him to age. Same with Ai.

Though that doesn't explain the Junior Detective whatever they're called. I think they've ever so slightly aged.

IMO, it's kind of gaudy. I've not exactly been a fan of the cover typesetting for a lot of KC releases, nor am I much a fan to this cover change. Though apparently Kodansha Comics wanted to go for a cover that reached out to the wider audience and attempts to bring them in for the "zombie" charm that is so big here in the US.

It'll be interesting to watch and see how it does. I'll be picking it up, as covers aren't something that will kill a manga purchase for me (though it doesn't help either).
