I might check these out. Sure, they may be five minute shorts, but the characters look interesting and the setup might be appealing.

Oh wait, Mangirl is 5 minute episodes too. Argh what the hell. 3 of 4 series CR has announced so far are short-format and one (Oosaka Okan) is a flash anime I had to turn off after 30 seconds.

Wow. Looks like nothing for me yet. I guess I'll have to check out the idol show and hope it somehow has a completely different effect on me than any other of its kind.

Crunchyroll to Stream "Ai Mai Mi" Anime

Crunchyroll’s announcements for the winter anime season continue with the acquisition of Ai Mai Mi. This new comedic series, about three girls trying to break into manga, is set to broadcast every Thursday starting on January 3, at 7:30 am Pacific Time for premium members. Free members will be able to view one week after initial broadcast on Crunchyroll.

Rejoice! Ai Mai Mi will be available to worldwide audiences except for Japan.
