Rondo Robe / Geneon priced down reissues

Christ, why can goddamn Geneon only release the same old crap over and over and over again? There were so many things they (well Pioneer) released on DVD in 2000-2003 that had tiny print runs (not to mention almost everything was DVD-5 and composite) and are now overly expensive and/or hard to find. It seems they have forgotten anything they published in the 80s/90s before they started their own animation with Tenchi. Did changing their name from Pioneer to Geneon make them lose all their old stuff?
