Forgot to ask. Kijakusai, do you have an idea why TBS decided to stop K-ON!-related birthday events for the time being? And why they may not be interested to do a third season at this point? Is it because they are too busy with other projects?

Those are difficult questions. A mangaka who had been a well-known animator wrote and illustrated a manga about anime production, and in a scene of the manga, animators read letters from fans who wanted a sequel to an anime and they said words of which gist was 'Sorry, we cannot decide it. The suits decide it.' So even animators are out of the loop on what's going on in conference rooms where men in gray suits talk.
There are rises and falls in entertainment industries. There are even anime fans who say, 'K-ON! is out of fashion,' and men in dark suits are severe about such things. I'm sorry to say this, but the suits might think K-ON! has become passé and want to move to new things. In fact, The TBS booth in Tokyo International Anime Fair 2012 didn't have K-ON!-related stuff.
In the K-ON! movie pamphlet, the interviewer described the movie as an end of the K-ON! animes [pl], and Ms Horiguchi Yukiko indirectly admitted it. And on the K-ON! official bulletin board, answering a question from a fan, a TBS staffer said, 'We don't have a plan to broadcast the third season for the present' in a businesslike/unsentimental way.

Well, I thought with how many copies were sold for the TV series and movie and all other things related to K-On! there would be a better chance to have a third season. But, it seems that the "men in gray suits" look at other things...

Default More info needed?

Would people like to have more info, something like release date of the next volume or anything else? I could update the OP post with the new info.

Thank you. It would be useful to people who want to check the release dates of new volumes.

Well, perhaps adding a bit of more publication data such as the names of authors and the names of original Japanese publishers to the lists?

Yeah, TBS' stopping events was talked about among fans of K-ON!, and in 2ch's K-ON! anime thread, people sorrowfully regarded those words as a euphemistic announcement of the end of the K-ON! anime from TBS...

で、4コマは? So will he write and illustrate a new 4-koma manga?
