Along with Tonari, poor Dessert magazine. Probably the last anime they fund unless manga sales increase was enough and I don't think it was as it still doesn't sell anything like a Kimi ni Todoke or Chihayafuru. Sad, sad...

You don't need to sell anything like KnT or Chihaya to do well though.

Using Vol. 8 for Sukinayo since I think Vol. 9's data got eaten in all the MAL rollbacks from the hacker attack, and I don't follow manga sales so I don't know where else to find the data.

Either way both of these are really quite a good increase, assuming the lead holds in coming weeks (I think they usually rank about 4 times?)

I suppose that 70000 increased manga sales at ¥500 are equivalent to about 5000 BD sales at ¥7000. Hope yet...

It is an awesome volume for Sukitte, both in content (won't spoil it here) and volume, still top ten after three weeks; still odd to me the anime made no dent but who knows, perhaps these sales are enough, would love more. Tonari is good too.

For next week's probably sad numbers,.Sakurasou no Petto na kanojo 1 arrived with Mondaiji OP and Ammesia OP, all of which make me very happy. Hopefully some good numbers for the CDs at least and I should have some faith in Sakurasou...

The Nande? Nande? Nande? special CD single with Sakurasou is great as is the Onsen no petto na kanojo light novel it includes. Will pop the BD video in the Sony shortly.

Not bad for an anime that was essentially an advertisement for Sphere. I guess the anime did it's job where now I have much more of an interest in Sphere than before.

Yeah, no surprise here. I dropped my import plans rather early and the many only-2-episodes-per-volume releases aren't helping to change that.

Ouch. Well, the game sold decently, but received mediocre reviews. So, I guess it was safe to assume that the anime wouldn't that be big of a seller. I wonder if sales will pick up a little once we get another plot-twist since around that point we'll be following the "true route." Probably not.

I think the show is 9 volumes so that would mean 5 of them would have 2-episodes only since it is a 22 episode show. So, 9 volumes for a 2-cour show isn't that terrible.

Speaking about the game. It is getting to be really boring and is moving like molasses. One of the things that the anime made right was pacing - it moves at a brisk pace compared to the game.

Better than 11 volumes at least. With the 3 ep discs being ¥8400 the total cost per episode ¥3197, which is a bit more than most 2-cour series but less than the Hyoukas and Nichijous and Gosicks of the world.

Oh, i didn't know Robotics;Notes is only 22 episodes. So yeah, 9 volumes is ok for a two cour show. Thank you.
