Erm, Criterion style releases, sounds good to me. Too many anime releases here in Europe are pretty bland, so any company aiming for quality releases with a bit of fluff is very welcome.

I'm curious to know how connected if at all this is to any companies in France. Some of the french releases of shows look very classy even to their american counterparts (assuming there is one).
In fact completely off topic but i would advise not searching anime on amazon.fr as it a real bummer. I mean they get practically everything. Barely any of it is expensive. Their is tons of Classic shows from the 80 and 70s. They get everything on Blu Ray as they are in Zone B. Its an Anime fans dream on their and none of it has English subs of course. I wish i could speak fluent french. |
