It's not that you _can't_ buy R1 releases, but that you _won't_. At least you own it already, and you're not denying yourself the chance to own a quality release of a series that you like, but didn't import.

I also imported the BDs as they were being released, with those lovely boxes and books. Because this is the sort of release that should be coming out in the US, rather than the usually cheaply-done stuff from Funi and ADV, I'll likely double-dip in order to encourage NISA to keep going (and license Chihayafuru!! and other series that I love. ;p ). NISA's release will also make it easier to share the show with friends.

I'm glad this title is finally licensed. I'll wait for the standard edition.

At long last, this show has been licensed. I'm certainly interested in watching this show, and NIS America is a great fit for this show. This show has a lot of great art, and the art book should really be something special. Now, I would like to see them pick up Chihayafuru at some point.

A dub may have changed my mind, but I didn't like the show that much, so I don't think I'll be getting this. I don't really have a desire to watch it again. I'm glad it didn't end up somewhere that it would be DVD-only, though, because the best part was seeing that animation in HD.
