Does your office allow deliveries for personal packages?
Yes, but bishoujo figures (or pretty much any package from a Japanese destination) are something I'd rather not risk having to have a conversation about. Pretty sure my coworkers would die from shock if they knew the sorts of things I liked, only because it seems so utterly at odds with my personality otherwise. Being open about it at work as I know you've said you are just isn't something I'd like to have to deal with.

1) No one says you have to open it at work, or even explain what it is.

2) You can always leave a note on your mailbox with your signature requesting that they accept that in place of an in-person signature. That's what I did with my last AmiAmi order and it worked out fine. Granted that's only really plausible with EMS, since you get an idea of around when it should arrive.

I don't work near the front so it'll be picked up by someone else initially. It's a small office, so a strange package arriving from Japan from some company named "Amiami" (with a label that'll probably say "1 figure") would garner questions, even if they were just genuine curiosity/not malicious. Still not something I even feel like having brought up though! I'm more comfortable working with people purely as coworkers, and don't really want to know anything about their personal lives or them to know about mine. Even stupid things like this.

I live in an apartment complex (with no mail room even) so unfortunately I can't.

There's "Oh, your child watches [mainstream] anime I enjoy it to" and "I bought a swimsuit figure of Kirino from OreImo." I'm not very open about the specifics and scope.

Dunno. Short of having someone nearby you can send packages to, I don't know if there is a fix if Saturday delivery is canned. I don't think they can deliver to a P.O. box either.

I'm working in a small office as well. While i'm open about my anime BD imports, which get sent to the office, where i'll open the box and display the BD's for the rest of the day, i'm drawing the line with figures.

The rest of the staff is female, if i'd try to hide what i'm importing from Japan, it would only make them speculate about it and they'd bug me till i tell them. They are more shocked about the prices "but you could just download it and not pay anything at all!!!" than about the shows, even the more ecchi one's.

PVC figures however are something i like to keep private. I can't really explain, why having a collection of young girls in pantsus with WW2 fighter planes on their legs, carrying machine guns, is a totally normal and sane thing... LOL

"What, most guys like girls, especially those in panties, guns, and machines! I'm only taking the logical step and combining them all into one being."
