Not a title, I'm personally interested, but this is definitely good to hear. Mostly because it means a better variety of Spring series through legit channels. Well, at least I think five series on CR is better than just four. Remains to be seen if they'll get anything else.

This is great news. This is one of the three shows I'm following this season and now I can watch it as it airs

Nothing I'm watching, but any addition to CR's lineup at the very least gives me a better impression of their health.

How long is this show? They're getting it exceptionally late, so if it's one cour it won't do them a lot of good. Sports anime almost never seem to be only one cour, though, so I assume it's at least 2-4.

It's listed as a 26 ep show.

A lot of this delay was thanks to the _volcano_.

The flight cancellations hit right at the end of MIPCOM, a huge licensing convention in Canne, so a bunch of people from the Japanese industry were stranded in Europe right before the beginning of the Spring season.

Interesting, now I'm going to consider that volcano to be a super villain.

Yeah, let's all blame the volcano .

But seriously Giant Killing is a pretty addictive series thus far, and I'm glad that CR is adding the beautiful game to their list of sports titles (Slam Dunk and Eyeshield 21). Now they need to get Big Windup 2 and I'm all set .

Which would make it 2-cour assuming that I figured out something's post correctly

Yeah. They'll still have an uphill battle changing people over half a cour into the airing, but it should be a bit easier to do that with ~20 eps left than with 6-7 left.
