Arcana Heart 3 coming to PS3/360

Coming to PS3 and 360, in Japan at least, this winter. Console port features a fully voiced story mode.

I enjoyed the first Arcana Hearts and what little I played of AH2 in the arcades (skipped the PS2 port, due to the various issues), so I'd definitely consider importing the PS3 release of AH3.

I'd still probably wait until some reviews of the disc hit before buying, but if ASW is handling the port, that certainly makes me feel better.

The 2nd installment of Arcana Heart on the PS2 was horrible IMHO..

Oh well this is great news for those PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers!

I bought the original on PS2 and enjoyed it. Not as much as most other 2D fighters on the console but it was enjoyable enough. Bought the Japanese version of AH2 on PS2 and sold it almost instantly, just couldn't get on with it.

Hopefully there will be a demo of #3.

Not sure how much I'd expect a demo, but anything is possible, I suppose.

I never really followed AH3 too closely, but various vids made it seem pretty much inline with the second game (a tighter version of the first), but with better animation.

As long as there aren't any nasty problems with the port or crazy DLC, I'll definitely consider grabbing the disc, even if I never get a chance to play the game beforehand.

Yeah not really expecting one and to be honest, I'll probably buy this day one anyway

Also at this point it looks like this is infact the game that the Arc System Works site is counting down to.

Yeah, I thought about the ASW countdown. Considering the info isn't on their or Examu's sites yet, AH3 being their announcement seems likely.

I also took notice the background on the Famitsu mag coverage looks to be sporting the same scanline effect as on ASW's teaser.

I'm really surprised AH has made it to its third entry. Personally, I think the games are fucking awful, but people seem to keep buyin' em... oh well. Well, it's amusing that AH3 exists, at least.
