Despite being unemployed and completely broke, I couldnt pass up volume one on sale (and getting vol 2 at the same time for the free shipping). Seriously, I got mad crazy love for the Lovely Angels.

So between the two from Right Stuf, this is all of it right? ADV released everything else, right - the movies, the OAV and that (rather dreadful) remake series?

Got my set 2 along with Durarara!! 1 yesterday. Odd how changing my shipping address from my home to my job got it to me a week ahead of when I usually get it from the date I receive the shipping notice.

Yes. All of DP has now been released here, to my knowledge.
Speaking as someone who's collected both companies' releases over the years, it's kind of strange to watch the franchise in production order. The picture quality is like night and day, since one company's release used restored video and one did not. Oh well.

I got my copy of the second box set in today. It looks like the majority of extras were saved for this one. The booklet it came with has 2 creator interviews: one from 1993 and the recent one from Nozomi. There's also a nice little Carl Macek tribute in the back.

I'd be ecstatic over a remastered Flash. While the 'Classic' Dirty Pair is growing on me, I'd take a Flash set over it any day, even without a chipboard box.

I'm with you. I really do like the original DP, but I like the dreadful remake better.

I received my copy of the second part yesterday. But I need a day or two to finish what I was watching before I can watch it.

Got my second set today, and I completely forgot that Nozomi uses those stretchy glue wads to hold the piece of paper to the box... So when I pulled on the paper, the bottom wads ripped small piece of the art off. Even though there's now a white blotch on the box, stupid me, at least the girls themselves are still untouched on the box.

Oh well, you win some and you lose some.

While I slightly prefer the original, I also greatly enjoyed the dreadful remake, and give it some big points for actual character development through the first set of episodes. Maybe not deep character development, but character development all the same.
