Episode 129:

- Juvia has a point. Why don't they invite her? I mean c'mon, what else is she going to do? But Erza and Gray are almost never alone so that's kind of interesting.

- Natsu picks a fight with Gajeel because... that's just what Natsu does. And somehow, it turns into a whole festival. >_>
- I can't wait for Michelle to get a new outfit. Assuming they don't toss her aside when the filler ends. Hopefully she at least sticks around working in the guild in the background.
- Oh fuck it's that utterly obnoxious reporter. Now with all his "COOOL"s I'm reminded of Fate/Zero's Ryuunosuke.
- And more singing Gajeel. >_>

- Meanwhile, Erza and Gray alone. Awkward.
- And Gray beats up some goons who we apparently met a long time ago, but given how fast they went down they're no more important now than they were then.

- Now it's time for the...Laxus takes Natsu down with one punch. Hahaha. 129 episodes in and our protagonist is still nowhere near the strongest. I still really like that, because 1) other characters get to do things too and 2) he still has a lot of room to grow.
- Ahahaa, and aftr seeing that Gajeel just bolts.
- ...I really love Wendy's new outfit, especially from behind.
- And Levy helps Lucy and Michelle make progress on the memento.

Then three characters approach the guild, apparently Earthland's equivalents of some of the Edolas human kingdom people. Most importantly... COCO!! A grown up Coco. She's so cute.

I need to finally finish this arc...

Yep, good guys win, vastly superior bad guys lose. I thought maybe just once... oh well, it was cool. Hades having his "heart" destroyed is a decent reason I guess. And the aftermath silliness was amusing as always.

Hades sitting on his throne in the dark room after losing the battle like that reminds me of Orochimaru. And then Zeref comes in and says something interesting...

Sometimes I really wish Fairy Tail could show blood. And I think they should have let them be S-class. The part with Cana and Glidarts was nice, though.

So apparently there is something in the world they can't beat on the first try. I stupidly looked through the thread before I watched, so I already knew about the time skip, but yeah, 7 years... that's a lot.

And for all my talk of finally catching up, I think I'll take a couple weeks to let that sink in...

Happy 2 and a half year anniversary Fairy Tail! Still going strong after so many episodes...

The Earthland versions of Coco, Hughes and Sugar Boy are much stronger and evil(?). They still report to Byro who is... very different from the Edolas version, but still likes giant octopi. They seem to be looking for Lucy for some reason which leads to some funny scenes as all the girls in the guild pretend to be Lucy.

Kind of very convenient that the strongest Fairy Tail wizards are not around so the remaining members are pummeled. Coco is very funny though and her magic is based on a magical pair of Nikes?

Episode ends in a cliff-faller but the preview instantly spoils it... doh!

Looks like a case of mistaken identity turned out into a fight really quick.
Guess Edolas & Earthland have the same faces, just different personalities.
The fight was really interesting and fun to watch.
Who's the real Lucy? game was pretty funny ^^
Guess it all had something to do whit that mysterious clock piece...

Natsu vs Byro & Sugar Boy.
That was an epic fail. Guess Natsu's flames aren't the solution for everything.
Being stubborn as he is, he never gives up trying.
Lucy's Taurus was totally useless, but still LOL
Lily, Wendy and Charla vs Coco.
Gildarts vs Byro. That fight looked as the most serious one.
Everyone had their own battles.
These new opponents and story looks really promising.

- Gray and Erza alone together? Juvia sure is not happy.
- Take note to not disturb Laxus, random enemies.
- Well, Wendy stopped the Laxus vs. Natsu fight and asked for it to be tomorrow… and now it turn into a festival.
- Michelle looks like to be a big eater.
- Yeah, it really looks awkward Gray.
- I feel bad for Juvia…
- Yeah, the brothers should be an easy win for Gray.
- Time for the fight Laxus vs. Natsu.
- Well, that sure was an easy win for Laxus.

Yeah, she is way too often ignored... I wonder if sometimes she still thinks about the Gray of the other world.
