Guess I should catch up on this before I get far enough behind to convince myself I can't.

Episode 141:

So a lot of yaddayadda in this episode but in the end we get some teams together and are about to set out again.

First, Gray and Freid. That's okay I guess, but won't be too exciting. Then Erza and Evergreen... and Max. Haha poor Max. I don't think Cana put any thought into those team arrangements at all. I'm also glad Juvia isn't with Gray because goddamnit, I am tired of Juvia doing nothing but fawning over him. Hopefully with Gajeel she's forced to take shit seriously for once. Then Bickslow and Wendy what the hell? Exceeds next, and then a basic Natsu/Lucy team.

And something very unpleasant happened to that priest in the end there. >_>

Well, if anyone can do a lot of shows at once, it's A-1. In the fall, they have this, Magi, Uchuu Kyoudai, Sword Art Online, and some kids CG mecha anime. Plus the short Shinsekai Yori. But Magi being the same slot, more or less, makes me wonder.

Perhaps FT will go on break. Between this filler and a multi-season break, that should let us go into canon material again for a good while when it comes back.

Wendy/Bickslow seem like the only decent team. Apart from getting their asses kicked.

Meanwhile, Gildarts punches nuns.

Episode 143:

Katja is very cute. But Mest thinks she looks like Wendy + 7 years? Mmm, no she would look older than that. Wendy is what, at least 12 in canon age? Add 7 and she'd look at least as old as Erza or Lucy. Just less busty...

Also, wait, does the Magic Council not know those members of Fairy Tail are alive? If they do, maybe Lahar ought to friggin say something to Mest about it.

But hey. It took a long time but this arc got kinda good. Mostly thanks to Katja, but I'm finally interested again in what happens.

Erigor was being controlled in his sleep, and our heroes realize that the same must have been true for Cana. As it turns out, her teams and match-ups were actually set up by the enemy to be in their best advantage. And that's not all... EVERYTHING was set up from the very beginning! The "Michelle" that this arc began with is one of the main six members of the new Oracion Seis who, along with the seventh member once again, the staff, who has been inside the ridiculous slot machine mascot thing, set everything up and manipulated Fairy Tail into doing exactly what Oracion Seis wanted. How will they get out of this one? With jiggly asses of course...

Thanks for making Lucy be a complete idiot there. Really appreciate it. Totally in character for her. And god dammit, does anyone actually like those stupid butt jigglers?

The only positive thing about this episode was Juvia remembered she's actually a powerful wizard and not a lovesick 13 year old.

Still fighting Oracion Seis on all fronts.
It's interesting how we got to see Lily and Sammy in big forms, but not Happy or Charla.
Wish they'd get big soon ^^
Seems like Grim Reaper got mind controlled into doing all that.
Guess there is a bigger power behind the scene pulling all the strings.
So the infinity clock finally got released and the end is coming...
The masks have fallen and it sure was a surprise.
