[Simulcast] Squid Girl Episode #08 Review
Review by Chris Beveridge

In Summary:
Squid Girl has hit its rhythm pretty well again here as she deals with a trio of short form stories that works well in showing her nature. From the way she tries to take advantage of not feeling so hot to viewing a simple item as an umbrella as an incredible offensive and defensive weapon works well. She has a lot of skill and talent in these areas which really does amuse and delight. Eriko gets picked on a lot this time around but she handles it all well and plays the role of the straight man just right. Though the show has lost some of its energy and uniqueness over the course of its run, to be expected, it's still a delight to watch and a considerable amount of fun. It's one of those shows that you want to see dubbed just to see how well they can give it a slightly different spin and bring the humor out at the same time. This episode is fun and it makes you smile, two things that definitely makes me very happy with it.
