I love the song, and I looooooove the PV. Utterly adorable. It's directed by the character designer/animation director of Macross Frontier, Takahashi Yuuichi.
Yay for the full PV. I watched a preview of it in a PJD Extend trailer and I loved what I saw. Music is great and the video is so fun to watch. Sucks that unlike the last PJD commissioned song, this release doesn't come with a DVD of the PV. ><

Late to the party, but I found out about Vocaloids ~ 2+ years ago and have really liked Miku ever since - the other Vocaloids not so much. Miku as done by doriko, supercell, and cosMo really speaks to me and is some of my favorite songs.

Not into figure collecting, but my very first one is coming in soon: the 100th commissioned/just over 4th birthday Miku Append Figma! I saw that way back when it was announced and made sure to pre-order it.

Not even Gumi? She seems to be the second most popular by far, and easily has my second biggest number of favorite songs. After that, Luka. It's a big drop down beyond that to Rin/Len (though there's some good stuff there) and I tend not to like Meiko/Kaito and never got into the Utau or other minor voices. But Miku/Gumi/Luka are just full of great songs for me.

Don't even know what's on it but I'll be buying it anyway! So that's where they're putting the DVD...

Got Sekiranun Graffiti/Fallin' Fallin' Fallin in today. The latter is okay, think it needs a few listens. But Sekiranun, unnhhhh so good. The Baker remix is... interesting? So so very different from the original, as might be expected. Very electronic, darker, more distorted. Think Sekiranun is becoming one of my favorite ryo/supercell tracks...

I was watching that video a few days ago in the higher quality. It's a great combination of song and PV.

I know someone made a Dragon Ball comment regarding the video, but when I first saw it I thought "this video actually might work well with Cha-la head cha-la." I would not be surprised if someone is already putting that together.

Song List - so, far the confirmed set list for the game.

I can't wait for the day when albums are bundled with BDs for high quality PVs.

Heh, figures I already own most of those on other albums, but I'll buy it anyway. I think I own some songs on like four different discs... the problem with compilations.

Default CDJapan's Vocaloid Page

I'm not sure how new this is, but I just noticed it today.

CDJapan now has a dedicated page for Vocaloid Releases.

Default Mikupa 2011 US Screening - Nov 10th

Just saw this at ANN. The Mikupa 2011 concert (looks to be the Sapporo show) will be shown at 9 theatres across the US on Nov 10th, 7PM local time. Tickets are $20 (not a terrible price).

Baltimore, MD (Owings Mills 17)
Boston, MA (Fenway 13)
Chicago, IL (River East 21)
Houston, TX (Houston Marq*E Stadium 22 plus IMAX)
Los Angeles, CA (Rave 18)
New York, NY (Empire 25 with IMAX, Union Square Stadium 14)
Orange, CA (Orange Stadium Promenade 25)
San Francisco, CA (Century 9 San Francisco Centre)
Seattle, WA (Pacific Place 11)

I'd say that pretty much covers each major section of the US maybe besides the Southeast.

I could go to one of these, but since I already have watched the Tokyo show many times and I have the BD on order, I'll just watch it in the comfort of my home.

Yeah... a Thursday night and I'd have to drive up to NYC (and go to work the next day)? I'll quite happily stick with my BD instead. I also would bet anything the crowd would be obnoxious. As much as I love Miku, it sounds more like torture than a good time.

Oh, god. I can only imagine the crowd that'll show up there. I have no need to spend another $20 for a product I'm already buying. Good for people who can't buy it though.
