There's also two sizes of bricks for the Anime Legend editions. There is the one version that comes in a 1" (roughly) multi-disc brick, which was used with the majority of Bandai's Anime Legend releases. The later version comes in a standard 1/2" overlapping disc case. Other than the cover art, there are no differences between editions. (As far as I know)

Umm interesting. I didn't know there were the keepcase versions. I wonder if other BEI series (that had the digipak releases) received similar treatment.

Default Urusei Yatsura to go out of print on 30-September-2011

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that we will be unable to renew our license for Urusei Yatsura. We will be unable to accept orders after the 30th of September, 2011, and individual DVDs will almost certainly become unavailable before that date as our stocks become exhausted.

So if you've always been meaning to complete your collection of UY, now is the time.

Pardon me for being sarcastic-And on the October 1, 2011 we at AnimEigo will finally close our doors and go out of business because we lost all of our licenses.

And the odds of that happening are: zero.

AnimEigo is one of the few companies that do let people know in advance that a license is expiring. It's just too bad that their main business these days is non-anime shows.

Now that I've thought about it, Witch Hunter Robin had two different Anime Legend releases. The cover art was different, and the size of the brick was a bit smaller than the first release.

Well-to be perfectly honest I'd not shed a tear if AniMeigo closed their doors tomorrow because as far as I'm concerned they stopped being a player in the anime world years ago.
