This has to be the most expensive two cour show I've seen since I started importing. It was a potential third import on the season but holy crap, it's going to need to be spectacular for me to even consider it now. More likely I'll end up picking a different third instead, because this is just painful. Assuming standard discounts and S&H of $5-6 a disc (if you make decent sized orders) and ¥83 exchange rate, this would very likely break the $1,000 mark. Is a "lol Kadokawa" in order?

I feel so. There is a fair bit of competition for my imports from this season, and that MSRP is enough to rule GOSICK out, for me. I'm not a massive fan of 12 disc shows anyway, all else being equal, just because it means you're buying one show for such a long time.

While I would love to get this show, which I'm enjoying so far quite a lot, and I have only small hopes of there ever being a North American license…ha ha ha ha…no.

It'll be a little more if you factor foreign transaction fees unless you don't get charged for that.

But, damn, that is one expensive show to collect. But, if it's a good show, people will still buy it. I only wait to see what exclusive item(s) some stores will come up with if you buy the whole thing at or near MSRP.

Considering the swag you got with Clannad and Kiddy Grade at 7600 and 7800 respectively, there had better be something stupendously special about this, even if it is on BD rather than DVD.
