[Simulcast] Gosick Episode #04 Review
Review by Chris Beveridge

In Summary:
When it comes to mystery stories, I'm always loathe to put in too many details of it because the discover itself, even if the clues are wonky, is more than half the fun of such things. The story here does well after the ghost ship storyline we were dealing with since it isn't quite as life threatening. Victorique herself is the real star here as we get a good feel for her in how she handles such mysteries because she finds this one largely boring and easy to deal with, so she keeps it at arms length. On the flip side, Kazuya gets more personalized with this storyline as we see him in normal settings like school and the grounds themselves. Both characters make very good impressions here and the slow unfolding of the mystery which continues into the next episode is certainly intriguing as you know it can't be as obvious as it seems to be.
